The Grinch (2018)
Same Story
It's simple. This story has been retold so many times I'm fine without seeing it again. There's barely anything new or different to offer the story. When I was in the theater my party fell asleep and the only people laughing were kids. The parents have all seen this before and so have I. Benedict Cumberbatch is a great voice for any Dr. Seuss character but he was wasted in this movie. There are some strong points to the movie like Pharrell Williams narration and the music but that was pretty much it.
The Vow (2012)
Pete Davidson likes it so I tried it
SMD is great and he has an entire section about the vow and I watched it after and he's version is better when he just runs away
BuzzFeed Unsolved: Supernatural (2016)
Nothing but love for ya boi
Humorous but with the right amount of supernatural hunting. It's funny and witty and Ryan and Shane are the bois and they have the best reactions to anything. Shane a firm non-believer in the supernatural and Ryan scared at a paper moving because GHOSTS. The dynamic is great and it's like they are an old married couple bickering.
Black Panther (2018)
Call it over-hyped but then again it is the only superhero movie with an almost entirely black cast
I went into this movie like cool Ryan Coogler did great with Creed, I loved Black Panther in Civil War, and Michael B. Jordan's villain had me curious but when I saw it, I loved it. It was beautifully shot and great humor. I saw it twice during the opening weekend. Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger was amazing. He was a relatable character as a person who's grown up black. Shuri and Winston Dukes characters were the standout characters and it has me so excited to see more of Wakanda in Avengers Infinity War and Black Panther 2.
