Wish this was on DVD
29 January 2012
Every now and then I check to see if this has been put on DVD, because I think my VHS tapes have deteriorated to the point of "non-watchability". If Amazon had all six available, I'd still put in an order, even though I don't think I have a working VHS any more. I am sure I would wear a DVD out as well. I loved this series so much. Even though it ran 6 weeks more than 25 years ago, I still remember with great fondness all the characters from this series, and to make that kind of impression is truly a gift. This was an amazing series. I wish it had been longer, but I loved the way that each episode featured one of the main characters, so you got a solid handle on all of them. I think if it had been allowed to grow, this series would be a classic to everybody. If you ever get a chance to watch it, do so!

Bones: The End in the Beginning (2009)
Season 4, Episode 26

Seem to be in the minority

Warning: Spoilers
Although I missed the first few minutes of the season finale, I simply loved every minute I did see. I thought the story was fun, it was great seeing old characters make comebacks, and I literally cried "No!" aloud to the TV when Bones hit the delete button. The last conversation made the whole thing plausible for me, and I think it was wonderful. I am a little worried about that final "Who are you?", but if any group of writers can make it work, it is this group. As for someone who commented that it is David who makes the show work -- this is a tight ensemble. You can't really pluck anyone out without consequences (I still miss Zach) and the chemistry between Brennan and Booth is what makes the show good enough that I watch the same reruns over and over every afternoon on TNT.
