Paranormal Farm 2 Closer to the Truth (2018)
Different for sure
This one was a little more uncomfortable from the start for sure. However started to get rather more spooky as the film went on, didn't know what was real and what's not.
Strange going on at that farm for sure!!!
Lucy is still my favourite for sure! Along with her horse Tia just because she's a horse so of course she's beautiful.
Awesome bike photos though I have to say! I wonder if they were real!
Paranormal Farm (2017)
Made me jump
Enjoyed watching this, made me jump a lot!
Loved Lucy! Reminded me of a farm lady I once knew, eccentric and an animal lover.
I'd love to live on a farm! I grew up with my grandfather who had a farm and I loved it.
Worked with horses all my life and hoped to have my own farm one day with livery's etc but sadly I fell ill with cancer, beat it but the treatment buggered up my spine so now I'm in a wheelchair. I can still ride though and still hope I'll get a farm!
Maybe I'll be like Lucy lol
I'd watch another of these just to see Lucy 😁 and the horses. But the dummies scan ed the hell out of me and there was some great jump scares in it. Can't wait to see no.2
As for the director I love him! Such a funny guy to watch.
Aura (2018)
Wow, Terrible, and this was made in 2018??
Really poor acting, the wife is sooo bad, the husband is a wetfish, the mother reminds me of a mother from one of those old films where she controls her kids with religion and shouting at nothing, just crazy, and the other 2 main characters, well one played out to be what she is advertised as but at some old silly fair/circus in a little caravan who managed to pull something off that a so called expert failed to do years ago with her and help from other experts. Yet she manages to get something to work with just herself and the wetfish, and the only one who played an ok part was the sister, and thats because she doesn't really say or do anything, her makeup is quite good too, but as soon as it gets near the end and she has to do a little acting, its just as bad as the rest.
You don't have to worry about spoilers, you know exactly what is going to happen and it does so there you don't need to watch it now lol. I wouldn't bother.
Enter the Wild (2018)
I can't believe rating is even at 5!
Wow, this film was described as something about an animal in the wild. It wasn't at all. It was awful!
I kept watching hoping something good was about to happen and before I knew it I was at the end where you had no idea what happens to the part of the group that is where they are.
It an awfully made Aussie film, I honestly can't believe the rating is where its at, unless the actors and writers, etc. got everyone in their family to give it the highest rating possible to bump it up. I feel if this was a rating that was accurate to the film it would be somewhere around 3.2 and thats being fair because it obviously took some work to write it and film it.
The acting was appalling from some of the actors and Uh from others, not good not bad, must beige, its the only word I can think of to describe them.
I am amazed at the amount of votes giving it a 10 and a 9! I've given it a 2, and thats because I feel bad just giving it a 1 or zero, which your unable to do anyway, if you could give a zero I'd of given it a 1 in that case.
I'm honestly not being mean, I like to give honest reviews so with that said, please don't waste your time watching this, find something a little more on the edge and maybe that is more honest to the title. The only animal you see in this a few little crayfish (I think thats what they were, or blue lobster but I believe their in the sea) and a bird flying high in the sky.
As for laughs, nope not any of those, sadness, nope none of that, and no fear either. Just a few omg's and yawns.
Tell Me Your Name (2018)
Disappointing
I almost turned it off half way through because I felt the effects were terrible for these era and the acting was questionable at best.
I've found other than a few that stand out, horrors these days have gotten so disappointing. I don't mean like, a Jason ransacking and killing, those films don't really seemed to of changed that much, though I did watch one recently called He's Out There which I enjoyed quite a bit, though there's always that bit where you want to scream, are you that stupid to follow that into that darkness! etc.
However, I've found most recent paranormal attempts, or possession films are just such a let down. I totally agree with another review on here, that most of this film seemed to be such a close copy to the Exorcist regarding the girls looks, actions etc. they just changed her age, how she became possessed and the setting of the home/church. Other than that it really did remind me strongly of the old classic.
I wish someone would write something that would have us on the edge of our seats, jumping at silly noises, and being shocked at how the darkness can attack.
I'd love to write a book and have it turned into a film, I've certainly got the mind for it, but I know how hard it is to even get published so I'm not sure I'd even try.
Fingers crossed someone out there is writing that book right now, and a filmmaker with great success will turn it into a masterpiece.
