L'enfant sauvage (1970)
Cinematography is beautiful
It was touching to see. I'm entirely sure I can label it as "entertaining," Well deserving of the title "a classic," this 40 year-old film holds up surprisingly well, and is definitely worth a look. And the film ends on an understated yet positive note. Cinematography is beautiful and the varying degrees of light and shadow are well balanced.
Un air de famille (1996)
Excellent Performance
The performances are uniformly excellent. My father Laurent Foucher also done a good job. Gone are the freewheeling camera movements and in their place come precise placements. The job of keeping the audience guessing and is full of entertaining filmic references and cinematic devices. By your lovely son..
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
A marvel of contemporary filmmaking!!!
This film is one of the classic movies of the 1970s, thanks in no small measure to the talents of director Milos Forman. It was Nicholson's first Oscar win and this remains, in many ways, his signature performance. I enjoyed the picture because it is an action romance, worked out in wonderfully inventive detail and presented with mesmeric immediacy by one of the screen's most resourceful directors.
Juste avant la nuit (1971)
The best film in my career
The characterization and build up to the climax is what convinced me to be a part of this enthralling movie. Adapting to the role was a bit challenging. But never once I felt hard as the director was extremely specific in what he wants from me. It pushed me to give my best, which is why I consider this as my career best performance.
Le dossier 51 (1978)
Superb Movie from Michel Deville
Easily, one of the better crime stories I've watched. The plot moves forward at a decent pace, decent enough to get one glued to their seats. Every single casting did justice to their role. And the climax is just icing on the top, you couldn't have asked for more. On the whole, a superb movie from Michel Deville.
