Broad City (2014)
Such a niche tryhard..
I donno man, i think Comedy Central should just give up and change their name into Garbage Central already. They are no longer able to recognize comedy even if it comes slowly in broad daylight and smacks them in the head with a toy hammer that squeels.
I think PC woke saboteurs have infiltrated in the decision making apparatus of CC because all they spew now is utter garbage.
This one is about strong independent women in a big city exploring their sexuality and their limits... at least its what CC wanted to be... because in reality is a woke puke of annoying characters doing and saying chaotic stuff.
Mission: Impossible II (2000)
The worst one from the franchise
Everyone: How many slow motion scenes do you plan on adding in the movie?
John Woo: Yes
Everyone: How many plot holes are you planing to patch with the make-up mask trick?
John Woo: Yes
The movie was a bit different from the first one, to say the least, but not in a good way. It was the kind of action move that Steven Segal makes.
It was lazy, plain and simple. They made the entering into the virus lab seem impossible because it was suppose to be very well protected. The only way was a 40 window through the roof. Yet, when the bad guys came they just shot a guy, destroyed the lab, left with the girl and nothing happened to them.
Wow, talk about lazy...
And this was just one small example... the movie is full of them.
Call Me Kat (2021)
Worst thing i saw in a long long time
I don't even know where to start, usually most shows have at least one good thing going for them, but this one... it has none.
Actors look like they are forced to be funny, none of their reactions are funny.
Script... doesn't look like they use one, i think i saw some actors reading lines... the Phil character most times looks like he reads his lines from a panel or something during the show. Either way... the so called "jokes" in the show are not funny at all.
Then... the ending, omg the ending. What the hell is that.. smiling and waving like some mental patients... its not working for me at all.
Also.. that looking into the camera and speaking with the audience... 4th plane i think its called, not a fan.
But what i'm shocked the most is that its not canceled yet.. it blows my mind that someone is willing to dump money into this dumpster fire.
Two and a Half Men (2003)
Great until... 3 things happened
Like i was saying, the show was pretty great up until 3 things happened:
1. Obviously, Charlie left the show. It wasn't a deal breaker for me at this point, i found Alan the soul of the show and Ashton was pretty ok... They had some chemistry, show was still watchable.
2. They brought in the so called Charlies' daughter, my god, what a cringe fest. She was bad and the writing for her was even worse.
3. The little black kid they suposedly adopted... wow, that, for me was the last clown in the circus. Everything after this was just hard to watch, even the actors had those "kill me now" faces. I'm glad they shut it down.
So to sum up, they kinda tried to fill the gaps left by Charlie and Jake, but failed miserably.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990)
Stop smoking people...the show sucked.
Will Smith may have gotten better over the years, but in FPoBA he sucked.
Also, people calling FPoBA the best sitcom ever its...insane, to say the least. It was never the best if anything. In the 90's there was Seinfeld, enough said.
Now...30 years later, its just cringe, purely unwatchable.
Rules of Engagement (2007)
Massively underrated
I caught a glimpse of this show by accident and I found it hilarious. I searched for it and watched a little more and it was one of the funniest shows i ever saw.
Now i'm wondering why haven't i heard of it before, where was this gem all this time? Its like it came from a paralel universe or something.
They should have put ads on the bilboards and milk cartons. What a waste.
Hanging Up (2000)
Didn't like it
Unpopular opinion here, but some subjects don't make good movies.
If you still want to make this gamble, you need to remember that movies are suppose to be, above all, entertaining. Not tedious, not frustrating, not annoying. Diane Keaton seems to have forgotten that.
Mad Max (1979)
This one is pretty bad...
Also, i don't understand why people are saying about being a classic. I'm 100% sure they referr to Mad Max 2.
Demolition Man (1993)
Great movie
It was way ahead of its time this one. Not because the action happens in the future, but because it has some very good characters, a good balance of action, comedy, sci-fi visuals, utopic concepts, actors, etc.
I guess it took 20+ years for it to be appreciated as it should, but, nevertheless a classic worthy of your time.
The Office (2005)
Steve Carell is The Office
And that statement is from the cast point of view.
The Office seasons 1-7 were genius and most of it because of Steve. He was the glue.
Seasons 8 and 9, were like another series. Rarely funny in the office like manner. Something happened there.
I'm sure NBC put this one in their failed bucket, because it was their fault Steve Carell left.
Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002)
Myers is a genius
Being a fan of Bond movies and also comedies, almost 20 years later I appreciate Austin Powers movies even more.
Silly, smart jokes, action, more cameos per second than probably any other movie, its a feast. Had me laughing the whole time.
I wish people like Myers be immortal, never stop doing movies and forever give us a bit of their genius.
The Oath (2018)
Not worth the time
I'm not sure what everyone here is smoking, but The Oath is a boring shaky soap-opera.
The retarded mistery music on the backround and the shaky camera are probably meant to add some mistery to this cop circus, but all in all, 50 Cent should spend his money elsewhere.
The Big Bang Theory (2007)
It was great, in the first few seasons.
Wierd, geeky, abnormal, interesting, funny. Then they decided to add relationships and boring drama stuff that put the show on a free fall.
When are these writers, producers and creators gonna learn?
Scorpion (2014)
Haters and anti-haters which are still haters
Well if we start from the premise that infants laugh their ass off when you show them your fingers and are having fun, then yeah, i guess the anti-haters have a point, the show is fun.
The haters however, are right. The show is terrible and that is because you just cannot abstract fun so much for a fully developed brain. If you are an adult and you still laugh your ass off when someone shows you some fingers...well i have some bad news for you.
Hollow Man (2000)
Started good...
My problem in general with movies is this way of making some characters invincible.
Maybe they made some typos in the script and misspelled invincible instead of invisible. Guy took a crowbar to the head, was shot at close range, they had a firethrower on him for 5 minutes, electrocuted, building exploded and he still shows up grabbing her foot on the ladder. All this time I was like "just die already omfg".
Give me a break with movies like this...
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)
My favorite movie
Here we are, year 2020, me watching this movie again for i dont know how many times and laughing my ass off.
I'm a huge Bond fan and i love comedies and this movie is a 2 in 1 for me. Absolute smashing.
Dr Evil is also one of my favorite characters.
Pain & Gain (2013)
Movie was great, funny
So many buthurt people in the comments giving the movie 1 star. The movie is entertaining and funny. Don't take it too seriously, enjoy it.
Skyscraper (2018)
Mediocre Die hard copy
Full of things already made and seen. I don't blame de actors, a buck is a buck, but the producers, what were they thinking?
Hancock (2008)
Wow.. what a missed opportunity
So they first smash trucks on their heads and change the weather, but then all of the sudden we learn that they don't have super powers when they are close to each other.
Hello?! Anyone with a brain in that creation team?
This stupid stunt bugged me so much, it absolutely ruined the whole movie.
Ghostbusters (2016)
Era of remakes
It's bad.
Doesn't even worth my time typing this or any other argument.
Out for a Kill (2003)
So bad...
Ok, so we all know Seagal cannot act. This movie is beyond that though. Its so badly made that even the time wasted to write this review is too much for it already.
Don't waste your time watching it.
Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014)
My god! What a waste of time this was.
It's like that painting made in secret by an elephant with his trunk. Artsy fartsy thought it's a masterpiece, an undiscovered genius behind it.
In reality there were just a bunch of squiggly lines nonsense.
