So you ever see a movie and think... think this is cutting edge bold film making? Yeah, back in the day I thought this was a good movie. Unfortunately, I can't say the same today. I do not enjoy this style of film making. Too cheesy with the overly exaggerated comedy segments and too much slow motion is used in scenes. If you can get through the cheesy and dated slow motion scenes of the movie I would still recommend that everyone see this movie at least once in their life. It's technically is bold filming making in regards to a musical and it has pretty good music. I must say I am shocked with the way things are nowadays where movies are being dug up from the grave from years ago to either get a remake, prequel, sequel, or some kind of side story continuation of a beloved story from so many people's childhoods so that it can be forever ruined for future generations and for people that enjoyed the original because originality is dead today that this hasn't been remade or turned into a musical.... yet.

The first episode had potential but was boring. Plus, they tried too hard to establish the main character as being this cool and collected spy. Also, too much smoking was unnecessarily plugged into the scenes. Felt like I was watching a cigarette ad. It didn't add anything to the scenes. Second episode this seasoned spy has her feathers ruffled over a disagreement about... belly dancing? REALLY?! After about 12 minutes of hearing the main character complain and act pissy towards her travel companion not liking belly dancing I was done with this show. Like I said the first episode I was bored by the second episode actually really irritated me. You want a good spy thriller? Watch The Americans or any James Bond movie from the last 20 years.

The storyline is terrible and nonsensical. Honestly, how did this movie get so much praise?! So everyone in America has a clone that is compelled to do everything their above ground clone does because they share the same soul?.... WHAT?! Then one day they come above ground from the abandoned tunnels and mines to kill their above ground clones? That makes no sense. So if you kill one then both should die if they share the same soul. But, that's just one of many flaws with the storyline. But, mostly just because a project is considered "progressive" (Meaning most if not all cast and crew members are minorities) doesn't mean it's a masterpiece or good quality. I don't care what the cast and crew look like... bad is bad. This movie is BAD!!!!

It doesn't have the goofiness that worked for scrubs. Tries too hard to add goofiness that shouldn't be there. Cringe-worthy lame desperate housewives wannabe. Obvious a man with no concept of how women actually think or act wrote this. Not every 40 something divorcee out there is a wine guzzling, cougar, and self body hating woman who complains all the time about getting older. Truly, this show is not really funny an alcoholism should never be glorified. So disappointed. I loved Scrubs but this show wasn't funny.

I appreciate that in a time of white washed media that Black-ish is a TV show that addresses a lot of issues facing African-Americans today. But, facts are facts. I watch this show to be entertained not to be educated or have MANY cut ins of actually woman talking about the struggle to tame their hair. Please, do a before or after segment with these women talking about their hair. But, not during the episode. It takes away from the scene when suddenly a cut away is done. This is one of the few times I just can't stand this show and they've finally made it to preachy for my taste.... AND I'M BLACK!

I used to love this show but season 4 just became too political. I watch TV to escape not to have some fictional character preach about politics. If that's going to be the case I'll just watch the news. I hope the writers get off their soapbox soon and realize they're ruining this show. I also stopped watching because the last episode of season four. It made no sense that everyone goes to the back of the store with Mateo and keep saying that they need to sneak him out front past I.C.E. The Cloud Nine stores are a spoof of the chain of Walmart/Target stores which means if a store receives delivery trucks they would have doors in the back of the store. On previous episodes they've shown characters going out of the stores back door to do stuff. Why didn't they just have Mateo go out the back door. SUCH A RIDICULOUS WAY TO END SEASON 4 BECAUSE THEY FORGOT THERE WAS A BACK DOOR IN THE STORE THAT MATEO COULD HAVE USED TO LEAVE THE STORE!
