The family and friends reviews aren't exaggerating - this really is box office movie standard sound and vision. Some of it was apparently on location in Morocco and the special effects are indistinguishable to the amateur eye from what was filmed. I'm just not really able to work out what the point was. For example the most risible bit seems to be a woman driving a jeep through countless miles of desert being pursued by baddies who are unloading mounted machine guns from a few vehicle lengths behind. Then, apparently unable to land a single bullet amongst the thousands that have been fired at nearly point blank range they fire a rocket launcher at her when are within ramming distance. This isn't a spoiler because there's really nothing to spoil. What a waste.

The most obvious observation from the first few seconds of the opening scene is that the acting is truly awful, there are no production values and it is perhaps a notch above some of the mobile phone and home recording efforts that are passed off as films. But this still cannot be described as a movie.

There is no point reviewing the film, it is utter rubbish. However be warned: the lead actress called. Keely Dervin is 'I need a drink to get over it', scare the children unsightly. She has quite the IMDB CV but I wasn't brave enough to look at anything else. I just hope I don't get any flashbacks. Urgh.

I have enjoyed a few cinematic versions of Jeanne d'arc, and although there a was a significant warning bell when I saw that this achieved some sort of Cannes acclaim (a normal correlation with a real turkey) I was looking forward to it. Then after an intro scene it suddenly cuts to a disjointed scene with bad dialogue in the middle of a sand pit. It got really bad and so I skipped forward a few times to confirm that this was a no budget film - bad everything. I thought maybe the ecclesiastical interrogation would offer some redemption but no, no..definitely no. Hilarious scene where I think all the money was spent on some horse dressage which in pretentious film word was probably an incitement interpretation of something they didn't have the money to depict. Avoid unless you're a diw hard French film fan but then, if you are, they had you at Cannes I imagine.

Obvious within seconds by the sound track, aspect ratio and film quality of the opening scene - of a women stripping off and pleasuring herself to a lightbulb of some sort - that this is a turkey. There are no redeeming features, every character is appalling and a child with a mobile telephone could have produced better quality sound and vision than this garbage. Public spirit means that I give this a 2 because the imdb scoring algorithm clearly discounts, in effect, the 1 and 10 scores and its present rating of over 4 is inflated over and beyond the worth of this irredeemable turd. Avoid, not even laughs over a beer here.

I'm not surprised there are so many zero ratings for the film although nil for this is a little over the top. I simply love Jodie Sweetin in anything, you wouldn't think it possible to go wrong once you've signed up her beauty and talent. Whoever put this disaster together has a very special talent however, and I hope I don't come across any other product made by the same people. Admittedly once the array of repulsive characters began to inexplicably appear and the plunk plunk background music lazily intoned the intended inference that some sort of comedy as opposed to tragedy was intended, I started to skip forward in the hope that Jodie would be able to shine through. Alas no. Terrible film.

For me, unwatchable, turned off. The review has to contain 600 characters according to the script refusing the submission at the end of the first sentence but I really have nothing to add because I turned off when the two leads had only exchanged two toe curling lines between them with the realism of a script read through by two teenagers that had just been randomly pulled in off the street. However due to the IMDB requirement to submit a more lengthy piece I have just watched nearly a minute's worth and it just gets worse. The thought occurs that it may be deliberately bad as a joke, but it's not funny.

30 episodes! The special effects are 'Monkey' bad and the entire thing is on a severe budget but it is a faithful - ish retelling of a legend "Legend of the White Snake". Totally subjective whether this is your thing. If you've never watched the Water Margin at the very least (and this is not much to do with martial arts, more spiritualism, then probably not for you.

There are ten episodes of this and I got about twenty minutes into the first one before deciding not for me. At the time of writing it has a high rating but with only 28 votes that could be for any reason. If you like a fairly mundane storyline that is Saul Bellow cheerful then carry on. I however had the impression that the themes of her inability to pass the bar, her vaguely misogynistic boss and deeply unpleasant former school mate were going to be with us for the whole series and I prefer things a little less oppressive.

This is a rotation of 3 appointed taking heads and images, not all of which are postcards. The mixture of represented fact and opinion about the images as a style has become a norm in 'documentary' making but I find it unsatisfactory; it will however prompt me to look for objective sources of fact as to the background for some of the images and compare that to the generic and specific claims made by the talking heads. Horrific subject matter and thought provoking.

If the average Hallmark movie would move even a little along the scale towards this standard, their films might become a little more watchable. It helps the male audience that Lucy Hale is mesmericly beautiful. If I knew this scriptwriter and team were making another rom I'd watch it in a heartbeat. It is not so much that it wasn't entirely predictable - it was - but that is not the point. We didn't have to suffer through godawful pizzicato, awkward interrupted kisses, religious input or a dummy cast of whatever the latest race and sexual orientation quota is. Did I mention Lucy Hale looks good in this?

The older woman is the same actress as the supposed 17 year old who appears half way between these ages and is credible as neither. The Isabelle character is also mid late twenties. They are so ridiculously old that the entire film has no credibility. The voices sound like they are dubbed on. The scenes are all like the first take after everyone has learnt their lines. According to the story they get groiny but I just couldn't watch that far, it was too tortuous. On the basis of the first half hour I bet the sex is like watching paint dry as well. If you love your all talk French films I'm sure you'll get on with this 1 dimensional effort.

I must have a hundred or so hallmark, lifetime etc. Romance films on my drive but the leaden, stilted performances of the leads here and the sledgehammer multi race/culture/everything ism killed it for me in the scene setting. I'd like to throw the diversity and musical directors in a pit and leave them there.

This is a bemusing short film. It gives a fascinating insight into an incredible - true - inter governmental conspiracy to traffic children as slave labour and highlights this through the past of the film maker. However once the opening voice over intro is complete we are left with ten minutes or so of a rather unbelievably acted extract of the mother's life on a campsite. I can't find a trace of the actual story being made into a film or serialized, which would be a must see, so this is an oddity and not really worth watching. Shame.

Main character and several supporting cast just plain bad acted and/or badly written. Bad dialogue generally and the film just never engaged me from the start and I turned off after it became clear that Jen Lilley's role was peripheral and would not rescue things. I'm sure this is worthy for various reasons but not what I watch films for. Worth a couple of stars for at least not casting an attractive woman and putting in her braces and glasses.

Don't be under the impression this is a film musical. Someone has pointed a camera at a stage whilst a man and a woman go through a lot of songs to a live audience. Odd why the blurb on the main IMDB page is not clear on this..

Incredibly, the opening aerial panning shot bolstered my expectations that this might get off the ratings floor. But the CG (well a computer must have been involved) doesn't reach the level being achieved on mobile phones these days and the performers appear to have been told to be abysmal. It's a laugh only I'm afraid, and by laugh I mean you'll turn it off unless you're on a cheeseball mission or very drunk. Epically bad. Rated 2 because 1 is reserved for the home video garbage.

More camcorder rubbish, but with an astonishing amount of fake reviews. I'm giving it 1 star just for the effort of creating all these IMDB accounts and the opening animation - almost amusing. As for the film, it isn't a film, just home/phone made nonsense that I was hoping would be funny but wasn't. I ended up skipping forward a few times and turned off in less than a minute.

I don't know if I enjoyed this more for its quality as a priceless time capsule or for the offence the modern snowflakes might pretend is caused. The wedding scene is an all time classic. Just watch this film: the first few minutes are fairly painful but everything picks up from the moment our heroine lands. It is sad to reflect that no film of this 'genre', a battle-of-the-sexes comedy that is actually funny and well made, has been done this century, or probably ever will be again.

An alternate take on the present plot summary,

Low life unshaven womaniser with creepy friends is somewhat bewilderingly married to an ineffably gorgeous woman who doesn't seem to have realised what she married. Creep flirts with barmaid, gorgeous wife finds out, they talk about it and - well just see if you can contain your excitement until the end to find out if they stay together. All filmed on a shoestring by the looks of it. Fortunately this is a half length film. I only watched (some of) it because I am a fan of Ms Ganem and don't want anyone else to make the mistake of sitting through this garbage. I do love the irony of one of the keywords being 'jealous wife'.

I came across just the titular short film not the other six. After a lifelong experience of French cinema as people having ordinary conversations of no particular interest and throwing in a gratuitous bedroom scene, this one was on balance slightly more tedious than most. Turned it off after skipping forward a couple of times just to make sure it was uniformly awful; it was.

At the time of writing, most of the posted reviews are family and friends. I regret watching this to the end and was motivated to do that by the enjoyable performances of the leads; and in fact most of the cast were good and the film making was great. But the entire plot, script and the so called romance was just a complete waste of time. Shame. 4 for the basic ingredients.

If this little shorty had been better produced - the actors were not good but may have pulled it off with better production - it would have been a decent little vignette. However the little twist was good. I normally see them coming and this one got past me. Worth 14 minutes and 19 seconds of your time if the female scientist doesn't make you turn off before the end.
