Outlast (2023)
Great show with some room for improvement. Hope for a season 2
I love the 'no rules' aspect of the game. It definitely gives a different feel, more competitive and conniving and different from any other reality show of its kind. I will agree that some of it looks highly produced, maybe production set a few scenarios up, but all in all it seems fairly convincing that these people, for the most part, actually experienced this. One thing that dissapointed me though was the finale. I felt to keep the style of the show, trying to screw over the other tribes, it would have been best had it not been a 'race to the finish' type of game. Imo if they had the winners be the only team left, and it HAD to be a team of 4 or less, that could give it a better dynamic and keep the 'cutthroat' aspect of the game. That way, when there was only 2 teams left, one team with 2 and one team with 3, they had to fight to pull someone over to their side to finish off the last team. This can create good scenarios for backstabbing and force friends to turn on each other. Same can be said if there is one team left and they have 5 remaining players. The team would need to agree on who to ostricize from the camp in order to be the team of 4 winners.
Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020)
Typical hollywood
Does hollywood ever think about doing movies that dont push keft wing politics? Can i have a politic free movie? This is oathetic, im so sick of these movies, leave us alone already.
Is It Cake? (2022)
Ughhhhhhhh
Weird people, weird host. Every interaction seems so forced and fake. Where did they find this host? Hes SOOOOOO bad, and not a 'so bad its funny' tyoe of way. Just a 'so bad im embarassed just sitting here watching it' type of way.
Pharma Bro (2021)
Odd and uncomfortable
Probably not in the sense you are thinking. The guy making the documentary thinks hes trolling martin, but trolling insinuates some sort of 'poking the bear' of sorts. Instead, this 'troll' documentary creator is actually just a shy stalker.
Manchester by the Sea (2016)
Incredible atmosphere and acting
Thus movie is one of the mist well acted pieces if cinema I have ever watched. Its very slow, very atmospheric and incredibly sad. The fire scene and following police station scene, if you have seen the movie, would know its absolutely gut wrenching. Give this a watch if you like these types of movies.
Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021)
Though provoking and funny as all hell.
Master storyteller and the GOAT stand up comedian by far. Tells his stories pertaining to the controversy of his last stand up and shows how ridiculous the 2020s have become.
You (2018)
Is season 2 didnt finish it for me... 3 certainly did
Ok so what has 'You' taught me in season 3? Well... The creators and hollywood alike have told me that we should root for the people killing a relatively innocent (albeit dumb and ignorant) religious antivaxxer because of the choices he makes. The best part is, they want us to feel bad for the serial killing couple who kills because the man is obssessed with certain women. They try to say 'they tried to kill my son'... Well you actively have killed many peoples sons, and daughters and mothers and fathers. Sooo religious personal choice, bad, like REEEEEALLY BAD. Serial killing randoms, good.... Gotcha hollywood.
The Invitation (2015)
Very well crafted
I put this on because I had nothing to watch, and I generally like Greene. I did not know a thing about it, other than it was in the 'horror' genre section of my app.
WOOOW.... incredibly well crafted. The build up and tension are done very effectively. Its not boring by any stretch of the imagintation, but its certainly not a fast paced movie. Go in blind, thats my 2 cents.
A Classic Horror Story (2021)
Solid pseudo-satire horror
People on here really have no clue. I am seeing a lot of 'cliche, taking parts from other horror movies'. Yeah, that was literally the entire point, its poking fun at predictable horror movies and how they use the same blueprint time and time again.... imo, very good tongue in cheek satire.
Sam Was Here (2016)
Good movie
Great open ended movie. As much as i could gather, its about the internal struggle with a guy with split personality disorder. On one hand, hes a pedophilic murderer, his other personality is not. Its a psychological struggle for supremacy that the murdering personality ultimately wins.
Sator (2019)
Pretentious and just terrible
People here saying 'if you only like xyz, then you wont like this'.
No, its actually possible to enjoy well made slow burn psychological, dread, etc etc horror movies like the witch, and others. While simultaneously thinking this movie is pretentious garbage that was boring, terribly written, acted, etc.
Wish i could give a 0.
Fried Barry (2020)
What a trip
Saw this last night and wow, what a trip. Funny concept, greasy characters, outrageous situatiojs. Definitely a different tyoe of movie, but if you can hack the intensity and uncomfortableness, its very.... uhh... rewarding?
Hillbilly Elegy (2020)
Great movie with great acting
Lets be real here, people. We all know why critics bashed this, and why there are many low ratings. These people decide what is a bad movie by their political beliefs. They feel that every movie shoukd be a progressive leftists garbage propaganda. This isnt even a conservative movie, just a movie of the south, and a great one, at that. Do not listen to the morally corrupted critics.
Damnation (2017)
Great show
Very well done show, even if it is incredibly marxist.
Station 19 (2018)
Leftists drivel
This show has become the corner stone of all that is far left. To hating on religious folk, making them look like craxy druggies, to pushing covid to the extreme, to critical race theory and the characters constantly telling us how terrible white people are. Latest episode had the gay character cry saying religion wont accept him, complete bs as the pope has come out saying it is fine, and basically only evangelical christians that do not believe in it anymore. If you want a show that only is out to push more division, this is the junk for you.
Big Mouth (2017)
Disgusting
Heinous trash sexualizing kids. There are scenes with naked kids, i realize this is a cartoon, but its absolutely disgusting, shame on you, netflix.
The King (2019)
If you want historical accuracy, read a history book
If you want a great, entertaining movie, watch The King. It may be inaccurate, however, it is a film, and an absolutely amazing one, at that. Though littered with inaccuracies, the film is nothing short of a landmark in showing realistic battle from the 15th century. In my opinion, people need to stop rating something this well made, so low just because they have a personal vendetta against historical inaccuracies. Most movies would be boring, if not made different than the actual story. It keeps us captivated. Then after, if you are interested in the history, go and read for yourself, but until then, shut up and enjoy a very VERY well made film about the battle of Agincourt.
Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones (2019)
One of the greatest
To ever do it... Never stop doing stand up, the more 'offensive', the better!!
Us (2019)
Very VERY bad
...... I just cannot say how bad it truely is. Premise makes no sense, the things everyone does, including the dopplegangers, makes no sense. Absolute garbage, and its too bad, because Get Out was great
