Lover Stalker Killer (2024)
There is one problem....
I have seen this case on Dazeline, and it is a haunting, cruel and heartbreaking case indeed. And I understand that stalking this guy and his ex-wife must be a horrifying situation. But in this documentary Dave Krupa presents himself as the super victim, but let's not forget that Cari Farver, her mother who lost a daughter and her son who lost a mother are the real victims here. And that sort of gets in the background. Dave Krupa should have known better than to let this monster of a woman into his life again and again. So - again - my heart goes out to Cari...and Dave Krupa - enjoy your fame.
The White Lotus (2021)
Loved Season 1, adore Season 2
Season 2 is nothing short than outstanding! Candy for the eyes, a weird kind of suspense throughout the episodes and a stellar cast! (I actually find Jennifer Coolidge a little overrated, but Aubrey Plata, Adam DiMarco and F Murray Abraham BRING it! It is that type of show where I simply can not wait for the next episode to be online. Where as in Season 1 some of the storylines became a little over the top towards the end I find that in Season 2 all plots build up nicely and suspenseful. It makes you wanna got to Italy so bad; on the other hand the horror of what passion, emotions and mankind itself can do is frightening to say the least!
Life of Crime 1984-2020 (2021)
Wow - it's a lot.
I was really not expecting this. Very interesting concept and it catches you from the very beginning. Strange that I felt that Rob Jeffrey was very sympathetic in his own way and therefore even more tragic and traumatic to see his decomposing body towards the end of the film. And of course the other tragedy that I will not spoil here. The film left me quite humble, appreciating my life with all its ordinary problems - you don't want to live the nightmare that these people call their lifes!
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
I don't get the hate
I am huge fan of the show and I really couldn't wait for the movie...and it didn't disappoint. The rivalry between the Italians and the Black gangs, the back story of some of the characters that were later on the show, the quite graphic violence and language - all this makes this a great movie in my opinion. Can't quite understand why I seem to be just about the only one...
Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules (2022)
The simple life revisited
It's D-List Celebrity Big Brother meets The simple life and it's actually not that bad. Apart from the fact that the cast is no strangers to cameras which makes it a little bit predictable, it's somewhat entertaining and the drama is big!!!
The Sixth Sense (1999)
Masterpiece
And after all these years it is still a masterpiece...the whole cast is outstanding and especially Toni Collette gives a breathtaking performance. I am not giving any spoilers but to all those who haven't seen the movie in 2022 - brace yourself for one of the biggest surprises in movie history!
