The Star of Bethlehem (2007)
This will not change anybody's mind
Presentation is everything. This presentation doesn't work. The "Proof" is something that this man "rigged up". I could have done the same thing to better effect.
This same material however could be presented by somebody else with better graphics and you might have a better result.
This just doesn't work.
A String of Blue Beads (1953)
The Magic of Words,
In A STRING OF BLUE BEADS, Louis Jourdan plays a young antique dealer who throughout the piece, places an exorbitant price on a necklace, first because he wants to give it to his fiancée, then after her tragic death on Christmas, continues to do so to keep them as a treasured memento of her.
Three years later he ends up tracking down a little girl who wanted the beads as a present for her sister.
This is a well made program. It is heartfelt and makes you grateful for everything you have.
The Witch from the "Wizard of Oz" (Margaret Hamilton) is in this. This is the first time I have seen Margaret Hamilton outside of "The Wizard of Oz"
Our First Christmas (2008)
Has a Brady Bunch Vibe
This is a great film. It is as family as a "The Brady Bunch" episode and is that is not a bad thing. Its heartfelt. It comes across as "Real People" adjusting to new family members and I love the fact that is does have the "Typical Love Conquers All" ending but, the ending is moving it makes you wish there was maybe this much love in your own family.
A movie about blending a family is almost as old as movies themselves. This film has a "Great Cast" and I can't wait to see this again next Christmas!
Widower Tom Baer, a school counselor, recently married school coach Cindy Noll, a widow. Their respective offspring gets along fairly well, despite different parenting styles, but as their first Christmas with all step-siblings approaches, each set is desperate to respect their own seasonal traditions, reminiscent of their late parents. Tom's father, retired preacher Joe Noll, and Cindy's mother-in-law (from her deceased husband, Dave), Evie, a businesswoman, each liked by both, hoped to bridge the gap, but when that fails, she returns home alone. Just that gets the kids reconsidering their pouting pact.
ONE OF THE BEST HALLMARK FILMS OUT THERE~
Salvation Street (2015)
White People Move In To Save Black People
This film is very insulting to black people. The only films that are more insulting is "Gone with the Wind" and "Birth of a Nation"
The movie is about Noah, a widower, moves his family to a struggling inner city mission. As he and his daughters make their new home livable, they reach out to the neighborhood to bring a glimmer of hope in time for Christmas.
Now every black man in this movie is a gang member or homeless. The Korean store own is rude and the white people are saints that will become hoods if they "Hang out with black folks"
Racist film! Made by someone who has no clue how insensitive this crappy movie is!
