Zuo tou (2005)
average, but watchable
I gave this movie slightly above average credit, mostly because of Wallace's refreshing acting. Rosamund showed up in most of the scenes, but it is Wallace that brings light to the screen. I especially love his natural shyness. He appropriately acted out the gap between him and Rosamund, both in age and in social background. The artistic design and cinematography is good, but the story was OK but not impressive enough to make it great. However, I think Wallace got a lot of potential and I look forward to his future works!! After this movie his name is constantly linked to big-name actresses such as ShuQi, Ruby Lin and Miriam Yeung, proving his ability is far beyond his good looks.

Wallace is the best in this series
This series is quite good, and although there are some pitfalls in the plot, it doesn't damage the overall excellence. The action scenes were superb. Roger Kwok and Tammy Chen made an excellent funny couple. My highest respect goes to Wallace Huo because of his captivating acting. In this series his performance was so sophisticated and touching that almost overwhelmed all other actors in the series. How can one imagine that a man with a cherubic face like him can blend nicely so many different emotions into one characters that was very reticent? This series was a huge breakthrough for Wallace! I love to see the wonderful chemistry between Wallace and Michelle Yip. The theme song "Your First" by Wallace is also very good. Highly Recommended!!
