Hard Kill (2020)
total cliche, stupid movie
It makes me wounder for how long they are going to make such a stupid total cliche movies, with lot of nonsensical words explaining "science" and illogical plot?
Red Sparrow (2018)
The most stupid plot I have seen so far
It it by far one of the most stupid plots. Nothing makes sense there. Stating with a male ballet dancer that brakes a leg to his partner. It is so unprofessional, it means be will be fired, because it means that he can't jump accurately on stage. He supposed to move to an exact spot. So he basically is making a career suicide to promote his lover. Then those ridiculous spies. Then there is a lot of nonsense that just logistically doesn't make sense. And finally even the plot The parts that could be romantic, like this distant love of two main character at the end, are dry and unconvincing.
Westworld (2016)
It discusses the free will
Yes, it get away from technical problems of AI, although that predicting future machine (quite a non-realistic) could also represent a self-fulfilled destiny and control. The show is still very unpredictable although it is more straight forward. The characters are close to be fully developed and the question that remains is "what is the aftermath?" and of cause "do they really have a free will?". It is not about one robot saving a humanity and another is used by tyranny to fight it. NO. There is still a question: do we want the free will? Or is it even save for the society to let people have the free will? And of cause there is a lot of questioning of nature of all our reality? Do we have a free will or do we just following the loop. There were few moments when I thought it was a little rushed, or maybe was already obvious for the audience and a characters still were to slow to get it But after some consideration I would probably agree with the authors.
Vikings: The Prophet (2019)
Lazy writing
Who designed the costumes for Rus? Why did they took the costumes from Ivan the Terrible? Do they invented a time machine together with balloons? They had a typical European dresses, virtually indistinguishable from Norse or Saxons. They were in confrontation with Khazars. And they were related to some kings in the North (modern Sweden). Anyway, it is all getting more and more ridiculous.
Soyuz spaseniya (2019)
Propaganda of tyranny
It is a nonsense from the historical point of view. Looks like a propaganda against any progressive movement in support of tyranny.
Messiah (2019)
Boring, predictable, full of deep state conspiracies
It is full of banality and religious and "deep state" conspiracy stereotypes. Almost Alex Jones. It is not like I think that CIA are always right but I doubt they would be idiots that much. From the other site all those "Jesus" miracles are really cheesy in 21 century.
Knives Out (2019)
Great crime drama
Great crime drama, very entertaining, the one where you still will be surprised at the end. Good sense of humor and a little satire also helps. Best movie of the year!
War Machine (2017)
Oversimplifications
It pretends to reveal some unknown hidden truth about war, but in fact it is full of oversimplifications and anti-american propaganda stereotypes. Real politics is much more complicated.
Ad Astra (2019)
It is boring and as nothing to say
It is not just full of cliche and silly pretends on being philosophical (that it is not) it is also boring.
Watchmen (2019)
great sense of humor
Great show with a great sense of humor and many philosophical layers. It is not anti-conservative at all but it shows the weak points in every approach. It doesn't follow exactly the comics but it does represent its spirit. The most enjoyable for me was its sense of humor. To those who complain that it is not original Watchmen - no, it is the continue of it, several years later, Laurie , Adrian etc are older and facing new problems. Actually I think it is even more sarcastic and funny and more philosophical than the original comics or original movie.
6 Underground (2019)
generic action garbage
I has a good action with some humor but overall the script is moronic and basically sends a wrong message. If it would be more sarcastic... but it looks like the writers were serious. Actors were great but they couldn't save to movie.
Samsara (2011)
I found it unnecessary disturbing
It misunderstands the culture, give wrong impression about the history and culture, and on the top of that it is disturbing, unnecessary disturbing without any philosophical or artistic purpose.
So Far: "Game of Thrones" Season 8 (2018)
worst ever
Characters are written as if they got dementia all together. It could be the same ending just as a plot of westerosi landlords against breaker of chains with framing loyal to Dani Jon. It would be more consistent with characters and with sociological background of the show. D&D showed themselves as absolutely incapable to write anything.
Arthur (2011)
worst movie ever
I thought it would be funny but it was actually very sad. Arthur is not so much "childish" he produce an impression of a mentally retarded. During the movie it is obvious that he is not capable for anything, work, love, even entailments. His fiancée Susan deserve much more sympathy than him. At least she is trying to accomplish something in her live and actually even can ride a horse (just kidding about the horse, but the general dumbness of the move is simply stunning.). Obviously, Arthur doesn't deserve any inheritance. Really, are you going to give sufficient money in control of an adult with mental capacity of 3 y.o.? It is not funny it really feels awkward.
