American Dad!: No Weddings and a Funeral (2019)
Dark s**t
Honestly, I've seen every episode of American dad and, tonally, it has to be one of the darkest episodes I've seen. The whole thing is mean spirited, crass, and just unashamed of what it is. The opening alone was pretty messed up and it had me in stitches the whole time, where I'm used to American dad having it's dark moments, I was genuinely happy that the whole episode was just a huge dump on klaus. I loved how it just followed one linear story line and didn't jump around much or at all. One of my new favorite episodes
Legion: Chapter 24 (2019)
What's so funny about peace, love, and understanding?
This show has me floored. I just finished and there's not much to say about it other than this is one of my all time favorite series. It ending on a musical note had me reminiscent of the scene from magnolia where the cast, while dealing with their respective problems, all sang the exact same song and it's a beautiful scene in both that movie and this episode. Truly an emotional ride from beginning to end. I can't wait to see how this wraps up but goddamn if I'm not going to be sad to see it go.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Don't believe the negative reviews. Seriously
This was a good episode, like really good. It gave us Cleganebowl, which was an incredibly epic scene, the cinematic shots of post war kings landing look stunning. The body count piles up just as was promised, obviously dany was going to snap, it's always been obvious. It was heartbreaking and satisfying all at once, I felt Jon's pain. Euron's last words will haunt me forever as well. "I'm the man who killed Jamie Lannister"
R.I.P
The Good Place: The Brainy Bunch (2018)
Good episode, but seemed forced.
The first 5 minuets or so felt like an hour because all of the jokes seemed way to forced and over the top, but once they got to the redneck USA restaurant it started to pick up in pace and storytelling. Love this show, but this episode was almost on the verge of being dissapointing.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Time's Up for the Gang (2018)
Im truly dead
This, so far, is the best episode of the past three seasons. It took denniss' psychopathy to a whole new level and they call back to so many different theories and teases. I love this show
Maniac (2018)
Wow
I was excited going into this series, and after it was all over I wanted to see more. Its intense, hilarious, thoughtful, and the characters mean so much more than just talking points for us to be able to really connect with them. Its also super bizzar and I loved it so much.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
My favorite show ever
I've been watching this show for about 11 years now, caught on around season 3. This show and the people who made it are true brilliance, they're so talented and hilarious, and bring a ton of depth to side characters that you can easily recall every time theyve shown up. Ben the soldier is one of my personal favorites. I recommend this show to everyone I know and even bring it up at work all the time.
The Happytime Murders (2018)
About what I thought it would be
This was an okay movie, I'm neutral in the matter because I did exactly what is supposed to be done in these kinds of movies, I shut off my brain and enjoyed. It requires no thought, its a stoner movie that wanted to be outlandish and crazy and only got a mild WTF feel to it, I was only "shocked" once during a peculiar milking scene. Other than that its pretty standard R rated material. I would recommend, but go to a cheap theater, don't spend more than 5 or 6 bucks if you're gonna see it.
