Lore (2017)
Worth a watch
I didn't expect much going into this, but was pleasantly surprised. No flashy CGI and gory blood effects, sometimes subtle is more effective. Personally I get tired of watching generic blood, guts and gore horror, made for a brain dead audience. So when I stumble on something like this, it makes a big difference. Very nice cinematography. Well done all involved for something a little different.
Those that are calling it boring, are probably the Evil Dead Rise or Saw kind of audience, so I wouldn't really take too much notice of the negative remarks. Keep an open mind and give it a watch.
Recommended.
Tales of the Creeping Death (2022)
Definitely worth a lookie.
A lot of effort and time has obviously gone into this film and I have to say well done to all those involved for such an achievement. I think the negative reviews come from people who have no idea how hard it is to produce a film and on a low budget and the dedication that is needed. Some of the stories are better than others, but that is usually the case with such anthology type films. I found it generally entertaining and the directors quirky sense of humour shines through once again. Still prefer Crispy's Curse though..... Part 2 please, 'Revenge of Crispy, The Fist Strikes Again'. You know it makes sense.
