The Blackwell Ghost 6 (2022)
Confused as to whether some of this is real or not-LOTS OF SPOILERS!
You're probably expecting a review of the latest movie from Turner Clay, the Blackwell Ghost 6. Well, this is not going to be that. Well, not really. Not in the traditional sense. I have loved all 5 of the previous Blackwell Ghosts! Mr. Clay is such a great filmmaker that I often wondered if any part of these films was real or not. I also did lots of research on Mr. Clay and Miss Czapleski (who played his wife in most the films). I found very little to nothing about either of them. No social media, no mention of their significant others or if they were, in fact, married to each other in real life. This seemed odd to me. When I found out that his wife in this movie has died from cancer in the first 5 minutes of the movie, I was devastated because I loved Miss Czapleski as an actress (although she hasn't done many movies). So, I researched if she was actually deceased in real life. I found a bunch of websites that seem "fake" to me talking about her death in real life. This makes me mad because Mr. Clay will not speak about this in any press. In fact, he does no press whatsoever. I would appreciate an answer to this, from either Mr. Clay or any fan that knows the absolute truth about this. As far as the movie goes, I agree with some of the reviewers. I was saddened so much by the death. Amazon gave me the movie for 48 hours, but after the movie, I was so sad and depressed that I couldn't bear to watch it again.
The Honeymooners: Young Man with a Horn (1956)
The BEST Comedic writing!
All 4 reviews are wonderful, but I am not going to describe the episode as everyone else already has. As we all know, Jackie Gleason and Art Carney are 2 of the most hilarious individuals ever-especially in the Honeymooner. Jackie is probably my favorite comedian of all time! The "funny" thing about this episode that has had me laughing and crying and coming close to having a heart attack isn't the duos' interactions in this episode, it's the list of bad points that is shown in this episode! I had to pause the show to read the list. I was laughing so hard that I was crying and very near a heart attack! Whoever had the idea to list that Ralph is too fat 3 or 4 times is amazing! Do yourself a favor. Watch this episode (and all of the other originals) over and over again. Your life will always have humor and laughter in it.
Paranoia Tapes 8: DVD+ (2020)
Speaking Silently
The only thing I have to say about this movie is the section where this guy called "Escobar" is in it. Never have I ever heard anyone speak so silently in a movie. Everyone else in the movie speaks really loud and I can't even hear this idiot. I don't know if this was done purposely, but it's one of the most irritating things in a movie. Bad! Really BAD!
The Shopworn Angel (1938)
I LOVE Margaret Sullavan and James Stewart
I give this a 10 because I love both of these actors, but I hate the story. Why would anyone put Stewart through all of this when Sullavan loves Pidgeon? This is terrible. I recently began looking for Margaret's films and since I love both of these actors, this was the next choice. I've already seen the magnificent Shop Around the Corner. This was unbelievable! Why would anyone write a story where Jimmy Stewart is taken advantage of? I know he loved Sullavan in real life, so I can see that coming through. Maybe I'm rambling, but this film has really affected me. This is the very first review I've ever given so you can imagine what it took to get me here. Anyway, I still LOVE MS and JS. Love live both of them in my heart.
