Crazy Rich Asians, follows a love story between Rachel Chu and he boyfriend Nick Young, who she soon discovers is the Prince Harry in Asia America. Now with this new information she must prove to his family that she is worthy of being with man she loves, while also following other character stories within the Young family. This was definitely a cute movie, and one that will be watched over and over. It wasn't what I expected, to be honest I expected a bit more to the plot. Overall, it was romantic and funny with a-lister actors and comedians. The acting is phenomenal with a great cultural representation. And lets just say the title lives up to its name with the scenery and expensive cuisine. It's a great film for date night and great to watch with a family. Recommend!

Sierra Burgess is a Loser, follows high school student Sierra, a reject, who is a smart academic student who doesn't care about looks or being most popular. Until one night she gets a text from a mystery man whom she fallen for until she learns the guy she is talking to thinks she is high school popular mean girl, Veronica. I was truly excited for this film and couldn't wait to watch. When I watched it I was looking to see if it was better than the previous Netflix film, To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Though there's nothing to compare. This film is original with an interesting subject of cat fishing and finding love you thought was impossible. I love this movie and the positive messages it sends about being yourself ad having confidence. Yes, the movie did have some controversial issues, though I love it all the same. I recommend the movie ad definitely deserves to be watched.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before, follows Lara Jean who writes letters when she had a crush. She has five in total Peter Kavinsky from seventh grade, Josh Sanderson the boy next door ( and her sister Margot's boyfriend), John Ambrose from Model UN, Lucas Krapf from Homecoming, and Kenny from camp. Mysteriously one day, the letters are out and she has to deal with the two who have had been hugely impacted, Josh and Peter. TATBILB is a great film and very much enjoyed every minute of it. Lara Jean is a very relateable character and the movie means a lot with much symbolism and heart. I love this film a lot and think anyone will too. The music is amazing, the actors are phenomenal, and the story just touches the heart. I highly recommend this movie, especially to all us hopeless romantics!

Carrie, follow Carrie White who is a troubled teenage bullied by her peers and mocked by her religious mother, and she soon discovers she had a telekinesis like power that goes wrong on an eventful prom night. This remake of the original by the same name stays true to its book and original film and is way better. I was very impressed with the film and how its fun t see how film has changed over the years. The effects were great. the acting was great, and there was a lot more to the story. I applause the longer prom scene as in the original the scene was quick and brushed off. I loved this remake and really worth watching. The story is also important as there are just very corrupted people in the world and one act of kindness can make a big difference, though one wrong choice that can steer a night ever so wondrous like prom, crazy. I highly recommend the film for those who haven't seen or those who think this movie is a flop because believe me, this was great!

Carrie, follows Carrie White, a troubled high school girl with secret telekinetic powers whose bullied by peers at school and tormented by her religious mother. She is then invited to the Prom where fellow peer Chris Hargensen makes a big mistake pulling the cruelest joke ever. This film is a classic though doesn't bring much to the table. It is a great story written by Stephen King and a sheer thriller brought to life. The only problem is the effective events towards the end are fast and are not acknowledged enough to understand the character much. It was a great movie though some scenes could have a had a little more touch to it.

Tag, based on the true story, follows a group of grown men who have been playing the same game of tag for almost 30 years as a way to stay connected. The game is played one month a year and one of the members Jerry (the only member who has never been tagged) is planning to retire motivating the men to tag him once and for all. This film was funny and totally star studded. The acting was great and the comedy was at its best. Yes, I felt the film was a bit mediocre but it definitely worth the watch. The film is enjoyable and heart warming with action, comedy, and a classic movie twist. I was very hyped for the film and was not much disappointed with the film. I definitely recommend for those who have not yet heard of the "Tag" brothers.

Tomb Raider, follows Lara Croft as she uncovers the truth about her fathers work and disappearance and seeks an adventure to travel to the island where her father had ventured to, to seek the legendary powers of Himiko and ensure it is kept out of the wrong hands. Honestly, I did not want to see this film, but I gave it a chance and it is actually pretty good! I loved the action, the adventure, and the mystery. Also, Alicia Vikander killed it as Lara Croft and put on a great performance. The action sequences keep your spine tingling and you get a sense of adventurous thrill. I enjoyed the film and think you will you to. Definitely recommend!

The Miracle Season, based on the inspiring true story, follows a high school volleyball team in pain after losing one of their star players, Caroline "line" Found. After the tragic loss they must work together to win state championships while battling the loss of their star team member, friend, and family member. The Miracle Season is really a great movie with relateable characters and a powerful story. The acting is great, the music added in the movie is perfect, the funny heartfelt momentsand the story doesn't lose it's power. I truly enjoyed a film like this which we don't see so often. So I am very grateful for a film like this and highly recommend!

"Live Like Line..."- The Miracle Season

Overboard, is the gender swapped retelling of the old classic that follows Kate a young widow working two jobs to provide for her and her three daughters. Soon, she meets the Mexican rich man Leonardo(Leo) who does not pay her after doing a job for him and soon the man goes overboard his yacht and gets his case of amnesia. With this, Kate takes advantage of the situation and takes in Leo as her "husband" and makes him work off his payment through house chores and getting him a job to help with income. Now, this movie is hilarious with great actors, laugh out loud comedy, and heart warming. This film is not bad for a remake and to me is more of a sequel since the story line is a bit different and their is a slight reference to the original. I feel this movie is it's own movie and has its own focus. I loved this movie because there is an equal balance between the different cultures and nationalities which make it more diverse. I highly recommend this film to anybody who are big fans of the original and to those who may have not seen it!

Overboard, follows a widowed man with four sons who is working hard to provide for the family and meets a snobby rich woman whom he takes revenge on after not getting paid when she gets a hard case of amnesia. Now thinking she is married to the man she is forced to work, clean, and take care of the kids not knowing who she really is. This old classic is a ton of fun with great actors such as Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn who bring the comedy to the stage. This movie was good and enjoyable, though I didn't like it as much as i'd hoped. It was a good movie nonetheless and highly recommend to those who have not seen such a classic like this!

Breaking In, follows a desperate mother who needs to break into a highly secured house to save her children from crooks who are also desperate to find a vault full of money hidden in the house. For me this film was okay. Like 2017's film Kidnap it shows a strong theme of mother love and the great lengths mothers would go to save their children. However, this film wasn't very strong in depicting this topic. Breaking into the house was all to easy for this mother which is disappointing since that was supposed to be a major issue in the film. Also, the film wasn't as thrilling or exciting, though towards the end the film takes a turn, though the story never really progressed during the film. I still recommend the film though there are problems with this film in particular.

Kidnap, follows a mother whose son has been kidnapped and goes through great lengths to catch the captor/s before time run's out for her son and possibly other victims. Kidnap, was an intense film and truly captured the theme of mother love. The events she faces and the action she must take to save her son is stunning and emotional. I would say the film is decent and has heart. Though this film is definitely a watch at a home film and if you want, when you have the time. I didn't love it, though it did have me on the edge of my seat and it was a good film.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, follows Sophie as she remodels the island of Kalokairi, meanwhile there are flashbacks from the fateful summer of 1979 where young Donna encounters Sam, Bill, and Harry and makes one huge heap of events. Mamma Mia! 2 is a feel-good joyous musical with even more hit music from ABBA. Watching it for the first time I was a bit iffy about it, and I think it was only because I wasn't familiar with the new songs, so I couldn't really get into it. Though now familiar, I am obsessed and can't stop singing them. The acting and the actors were great. Big props to Lily James who portrayed young Donna ever so perfect! This film has great singing, acting, and positive messages with relatable characters. The only problem I believe I have is that the flashbacks don't really correspond to how the story was told in the first film though when watching the film, it's so mesmerizing you just kind of forget about it. Great film, recommend!

Mamma Mia! follows Donna as her daughter Sophie is soon to be married and doesn't yet know that Sophie has invited her three possible fathers that Donna got with in her past. Watch this music, comedy filled movie as you have your time of your life keeping up with this crazy wedding. This film was well done and creative as the film is an ABBA based musical with most of ABBA's hits. I have enjoyed Mamma Mia! every single time i've watched it and just have grown to love it each and every time. At first the movie was okay to me, though overtime i've became a little obsessed. I highly recommend the film with it's great songs, great acting, and lovely message.

A Quiet Place, is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the story follows a family if four who must live as silently as possible or the fast, blind, good hearing creatures come to hunt. A Quiet Place is a great, thrilling, emotional film with a great message about family which is weird coming from a movie like this. I was impressed by the acting, the quietness, and the great directing from The Office actor John Krasinski. This movie us the one movie I just had to watch on the big screen and watching it in theaters is the best thing you could do with a movie like this. I definitely recommend the film as it will have you with a loud heart beating chest throughout the film.

Ant-Man and the Wasp, introduces the Wasp as she teams up with Ant-Man to defeat Marvel's new villain, Ghost, meanwhile also discovering groundbreaking secrets behind the quantum realm. I was truly excited for Ant-Man and the Wasp and couldn't wait to see the Wasp brought to life. The heroes were great with somewhat good action sequences. However, the movie, the plot, and the villains were not all that great. First of all, the movie felt kind of long and got pretty boring on some parts. Also, supposedly the movie is supposed to be laugh out loud funny, though for me it was just a few giggles throughout. Secondly, the plot was everywhere and the movie never focused on just one plot line and instead jumped around. Lastly, every movie needs a great villain and in this movie there were more than one villain and none of them were actual "villains" which was very disappointing. The movie was okay though I would not pay money to watch the film in theater. Save you money.

I Can Only Imagine, is the story based on the hit song which follows christian singer Bart Miller's story from his growth for the love of music, his transformation in faith, and his emotional relationship with his father. The film was great and truly inspiring. Bart Miller's story is truly heartfelt and emotional with a story that needs to be heard about finding your voice and mending relationships. The film really reminds us that God can change any situation and that we have to keep believing in him and remember all the blessings he has given us. I definitely recommend the film for those with down spirits and just be open to be uplifted!

Rampage, based on the hit video game follows three huge animals causing mass destruction all over the world and there to track the animals and stop them is animal expert Davis Okoye and Doctor Kate Caldwell as they race against time to find the cure. To be honest i really wanted to watch this film and to my surprise very disappointed. The plot was all over the place with not so likable characters and terrible humor. I normally love almost all movies, but this one did not cut it. I recommend watching the film on your own time and if you can try watching the film for free and no cost because I would not waste my money on it. I really wanted to like the film but I can't, and I don't think i'll watch the film a second time.

I Feel Pretty, follows a deeply insecure Renee who wishes to be undeniably pretty and soon faces a head injury (concussion to the head) and wakes up being the most confident, beautiful feeling woman. The premise is funny and when I first watched the trailer I was already buckled up and ready for the ride. Though first watching it, the film was sort of a disappointment. I enjoyed the film and had some laughs here and there especially in the end, though for a comedy it was not that funny and kind of predictable. I was surprised the film wasn't at it's best, especially a film coming from comedian/actress Amy Schumer. However, it definitely has a good positive message to everyone who has never felt good about themselves and just gives people that boost of confidence they need. The film was good though at the same time a bit mediocre.

When We First Met, follows Noah who is madly in love with Avery the girl of his dreams...to bad shes engaged to Ethan the man of her dreams. Noah wishing he can go back to the night him and Avery met somehow does travel to that night over and over again till he makes her his. This rom-com is truly a charming little story with a shocking romantic twist and funny comedic moments between these lovable characters. This movie is a funny, relatable, feel good movie unexpected friendships, relationships, and heartbreak. I highly recommend for us hopeless romantics out there!

Alex Strangelove, follows high school student Alex who has the perfect relationship with his long time girlfriend and is peer pressured to finally do the knitty-gritty with her, until he meets Elliott a guy he is sure is interested in him and suddenly he is confused on what he wants and who he is. The film is charming and let's just say a little more inappropriate than how I thought it would be. The film does focus on Alex and his struggle to figure out his sexuality and identity. Though, I don't think the film really touched on it quite as good as I thought they would. The movie did kind of drag and Elliot was hardly in the film, though the ending really made up for what felt like a long film. Really the ending was good and gave me that YASS moment. The acting was quite good and had the right amount of charm to please a crowd.

The Kissing Booth, tells the story of Elle and her best friend Lee and follows them through their unbreakable friendship. They have a long list of rules to maintain their friendship until Elle winds up falling into one of the big no, no rules which is no falling in love or liking your best friends sibling. Which in this case is Lee's older brother Noah whom Elle has had a long time crush on. The Kissing Booth is a cute rom-com with a very nice premise and great acting from rising stars. The movie drags a little towards the end, though is definitely worth anyone's time.The Kissing Booth is a nice little film about friendships, relationships, and trust. Netflix's, The Kissing Booth should definitely be watched and loved by many.

Life of the Party, follows college mom Deanna whose sends her daughter into her senior year of college, only to get divorced by her husband right after. With this, it sends Deanna to give life the old college try to finish her last year of college that she never got to finish. I will say the film was actually funny and enjoyable. The film was bright and kept the laughs coming. It was a feel-good movie with positive messages, family connectivity, and of course the comedy. The acting was great and everyone was very energetic and really took on their role as best as they could. And like always, Melissa McCarthy delivered! I recommend the film to those looking for a good laugh and to anyone who just needs a little uplifting.

Game Night, follows a group of your typical game night friends who have a wild night solving a mystery they soon discover is not a game. The movie was okay and recommend renting it rather than going out to pay a whole lot of money with many flaws. The film could have been better, and to be more specific if could have actually been funny. For me there were very small laughs, and I love to laugh. The film was more on the action side rather than humor, which is funny considering the movie is supposed to be a dark comedy. I did like the film, though not as much as I would have liked too. The acting was great though and some of the scenes and gags were believable. Again the film is okay and advice to watch the film at a later time.

The Strangers: Prey at Night, is the sequel based on the chilling true story following a family of four as they pay a visit to a secluded mobile home park where three killers await to prey. The sequel is surprisingly better than the first with more characters and chases. The Strangers: Prey at Night to most was a let down, though for me it was astonishing with great acting and phenomenal music! Also, hands down to Bailee Madison who's come a long way in her career. Strangers 2 is a great film and I would recommend to those who haven't watched even the first film.
