Colin in Black and White (2021)
Leave hate behind and watch this
Good show, highly recommended to critical thinkers. I'ts about racism and never giving up. It's time to let all that hate go away, and listen to this guy (and let him play again). Great acting too.
Fear Street: 1978 (2021)
Magical CPR
The movie which a girl got stabbed several times and a quick CPR saves her life. There's no even need to rush into a ER, by the way.
Il Divin Codino (2021)
Good, but incomplete
Baggio deserves an 2 hour movie, at least. He played 3 world cups and the movie showed just his worst moment of those three. It's unfair to his great career. They should have shown the growth of his career until 94. This was too important to ignore, among other things. Great job by the main actor, by the way!
Army of the Dead (2021)
It's an action movie, not an zombie one.
I enjoyed the movie because I saw it as an action movie, not a horror one. I love zombie genre, and this is not a zombie movie. Is a action-monster movie. The only horror part is that on the dark corridor with hibernating zombies. That's all.
And the plot holes... lots of them, as many viewers already described. But I've had a single question while the credits rolled: did Greta survived or not?? Many people died because of her and we didn't even find out if she survived after the helicopter crashes. Good and fun, if you watch it with zero expectations.
Das schaurige Haus (2020)
Family horror movie to watch with kids
It's a "family horror movie". It's not scary as Conjuring or childish as Casper. Isn't great but has good moments. Fritz is, definitely, the best character; in the other hand, there's a lack of charisma to the brothers Hendrik and Eddi, but they're ok. And the successful spirit session conducted by a 10 year old (maybe less) boy was very hard to buy, but this is one of the clues that this movie can not be take so seriously. Watch with your kids (11 years or more), they will probably gonna like.
The Defiant Ones (2017)
Greatest headphones advertising ever.
It's a pretty good documentary, with several interviews, telling how two different paths can encounter in the ways of life. I watched because NWA, which I like, despite being more a heavy metal fan than a hip hop one. This doc is more about how to win in american way of life, getting tons of cash and keeping on the top for dozens of years, reinventing the ways of making money in musical industry. But, right after watched this, I find myself looking for Beats headphones on internet.. And I say "hey! Something is wrong here...".
I Care a Lot (2020)
Not so bad
Yeah, I expected more of the movie after seen the first 20 minutes. The movie takes a strange and unpleasent course after the first hour. But a movie where you hate the main characters are still a movie with potential. Yeah, I'd prefer the vengeance as the main storyline and motivation and the movie kind of misses this near the end. Well, it's a movie, it's not all believable, but still worth the watch. Good acting with a satisfing ending..
Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition (2015)
This is BTTF4
There's no need to make another movie. This game IS the Back To The Future 4 and it's amazing. Wonderful story, closes the saga with perfection.
Nadie Sabe Que Estoy Aquí (2020)
So much potential...
A good idea, great acting, but so poorly executed... The movie is slow, takes too long to something really interesting happens and, when happens, there's no closing. Memo tells the truth to the world and then... The movie ends. Apparently, he got the girl, but the girl never was the point. What happened after the tv show? He started a career? He takes his life back? We don't even know if the cameras got him singing with the band. There is no explanation for almost nothing.
Doing Hard Time (2004)
Poor acting and plot holes
I saw this movie in 2020 on Netflix, and I had notice some actors that would be famous later in life. But this movie seems to be just a low budget one, with poor acting and inconsistent writing.
The sadness of Mike for losing his son simply doesn't convince. And his constant pokerface while in prison looks like a school play's actor throwed into a movie.
Some plot issues doesn't help as well. How Mike let a police officer paralytic waist down only by punching his face?
And how does he makes a gun only with paper? And how none of the guards notice the silly hideout of this gun?
To finish my review: Durty goes to jail as a street drug dealer and comes out as a well succeeded man, with no reason, with suit, a big car and a happy family.
Well, there's a lot of holes in this plot. It's not the worst movie ever. There's some redemption of a bad guy in the end, and I always appreciate this.
Well, if you see it with low expectations, you should be fine with it.
Everything Sucks! (2018)
Why they cancel it???
It was a nice show, with good characters, talented young actors and good story. It had a nice 90's vibe, without being artificial or forced. Maybe the development of the story was a little slow, but not drastic. I can't understand why Netflix cancel it. It was a shame.
Rim of the World (2019)
Could be better
This movie had potential to be another Super 8 in terms of style. But is childish. The characthers are superficial and the whole conflict could be more deep, including the bond among the kids. The first half of the movie is an endless run with lots of screams that can make you think "ok, when the story really starts?".
In the second half the story gains some breath and the movie gets better. And the key scenes on the last 20 minutes almost are ruined by the extreme embarassing adidas propaganda.
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018)
Amazing! Black mirror is here!
Amazing idea. In a certain point, you might feel drag to Black Mirror's world, being part of all of that. The story is good and our interaction with the main character it's like a videogame, but it's more deep. Strongly recomended!
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
Very superficial, but still worth it
Good and exciting movie. But ignore lots of important facts and phases of the band. The movie selects specific moments over the years, but it's too superficial even when tries to tell Mercury's life story. Worth to watch though. Excelent acting, soundtrack and atmosphere all over the movie.
