Tattoo Girls (2018)
It basically looks the same as any other society and culture.
The director created a film where the view felt as if they were being shown a special side of the lives of these Polish women and the society that not all individuals see. It basically looks the same as any other society and culture.
Borg McEnroe (2017)
Disappointing...
There's something missing in this film. I'm still wondering what would be as the performances were solid, and the "life" segment we follow were interesting. Mostly I felt that the characterization, both of Borg and McEnroe, were to simplistic and lacking depth, as they were presented in one dimension only. Borg is presented on flat way as "the" cold ice block and McEnroe, as the emotional volcano always near of erupting, Just disappointing...
Soupçons (2004)
I think this doc portrayed Michael Peterson in a more favourable light and possibly deliberately omitted other factors to keep its audience from perceiving otherwise.
Being a lover of true crime documentaries, I just had to watch The Staircase. Initially, I was convinced from the trailer that the accused was guilty, however my opinion after watching was leaning towards his innocence. I think this doc portrayed Michael Peterson in a more favourable light and possibly deliberately omitted other factors to keep its audience from perceiving otherwise. I researched and looked into other shows covering this case and could see much was left out that would have made it less biased.
Chemi bednieri ojakhi (2017)
Simply a great view!
I came across this film by accident while searching for something new to view on Netflix. It was such a simple story about the dynamics of a family, centered around a middle-aged woman, that it pulled me in from the start. I felt like I could have been watching a documentary. The acting was spot on and the one shot camera sequences were captivating. Simply a great view!
