How is it possible to get the actors to play so unbelievably bad. I heard good things about this but just ten minutes in Its quite obvious where this was heading. The lead actor seems to be the only one who knows anything at all about acting but still she's far from her usual level. The reason I give it a two is that it has some good intentions but manages to mess everything up. Everything is predictable and I find myself realising that this is an example of a movie that I could've done better myself, yes I know that sometimes people say that but this time it's true. This is presented like a feelgood film and for a total novice it might be but for anyone over 12 it's not.

A feelgood film without the clichés
15 November 2022
This film has a lot of darkness but I still consider it a feelgood movie. It's a bit of a copy of the French film The Hedgehog but not a ripoff since there are several differences between the two. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys "dark" humour. It's about a woman who hasn't been able to let go of things from the past but at the same time she has a hidden goal in her life, a life she leads on her own. Her daily routine is to drive around the neighborhood supplying several people with the medicine she has doctors prescription for but doesn't use herself. When circumstances force her to interact with others in a more personal way things start to happen. I laughed many times even if this film has some darkness in it.

Ok, but not great
9 May 2022
This was ok to watch but I must say that it's a bit disappointing. When they try to make it interesting it kind of fails. The acting is good to begin with but pretty soon things go over the top. I would easily recommend something else but if you only have this for the evening it's ok.

A really good movie, not for action fans
24 April 2022
Don't get me wrong, this movie is filled with action but not in the classic sense. It's a bit slow moving but it certainly got me hooked from the beginning. It's about a family who's struggling to make ends meet after war. It's also a film about women who try to help eachother. The men in the film is stuck in there ways but if you look closely there are rays of hope shining through. I gave it an 8 but as a debut this is a sensation. If you're into films with Segal or Van Damme Don't watch this.

Sorry I just don't believe this
26 January 2022
This film is not crap but it has so many flaws in the storyline that I just don't believe it. It's nicely shot and in the beginning it feels like a great movie but pretty soon that feeling fades. They could've done something really special with this but failed in keeping the story believable.

Caine makes this a 10
19 October 2021
This is a great feelgood even if it's not a feelgood all the way. Caine is superb and even if I might be a bit generous with my 10 it's my review and I will mark it anyway I please. A lot of humour and some darkness. Actors like Michael Caine are a disappearing breed so enjoy it while you can.

Good but predictable
23 September 2021
This movie has a lot of good both acting and action but some of the scenes are really predictable. Of course everyone knows how the"great" war ended but they could have tried to make the story truthful since it's based on a true story. The filmmakers can't help themselves, they just have to glorify some thing's even if it's just someone handing over a pack of cigarettes. Anyway it's not a bad film but I expected more.

Not the usual, but good

If you're into "normal" this might not be for you. But if you like different and odd this is it. A mix of really serious stuff and laughter that works all the way. Maybe the logic in this film is absent but I bought it anyway.

A good slow paced film about bullies and running
24 May 2021
This is a film well worth watching even if it is a bit out of the ordinary. Some of the angles/photo is beautifully filmed but a bit too "arty" but nothing that is over the top. And watch the whole thing, you might miss important things if you stop early.

Good and probably true
16 January 2021
A film that looks at the relationship between employer and employee. It has several funny scenes but it's easy to choke on the laughter since the story feels a bit too real at times. I enjoyed it and even if there's some nasty bits I think the film has a positive vibe
The Last Shift

Slow but good

A film with many different layers. What is fair? Is the American dream possible to realize for people on the bottom? The movie contains some laughter but I wouldn't call it funny. Still worth watching because of the good acting and clever use of a low budget.
