I just finished watching this movie. They lost me when she was reading a book (paper book) in the bathtub...Really! Would anyone, including a child, take a paper book to read in the tub. And to make this even more unbelievable, she falls asleep or passes out, whatever, and the book goes in the water. Could anyone not predict this happening. The writers really made a stupid stretch here. This otherwise was a pretty good movie. Sometimes I think I should be a movie writer. I certainly could come up with something more believable than this book in tub thing. I honestly see movies every day that suffer from poor writing and this was certainly one of them.

This is the absolute worst movie I've ever seen. I kept watching it thinking that it's gotta get better. I held that thought right up to the credits. Don't know where they got the guy who played the police chief, but almost anyone could play his part since his part was mostly sitting quietly and sulking. I'll bet that he didn't say more than 20 words through the whole movie. I don't know why writers think that the brooding, silent type is what people want to see, but as for me, a character like makes me want to slap him and say, "Say something". I've seen some real stinker movies before, but this one takes first place. Just an awful movie!.

Entertaining movie but one of the most predictable movies I've seen lately. The writers tried to throw in every known plot twist: Her sister just happening to be camping in the fire area, the little girl going to the bathroom, but her parents looking for her everywhere but the bathroom, the bathroom door being stuck, her just happening to be on a date with one of the instructor when the whole thing goes down, the whole situation of a rookie being taken on a fire jump, etc. Maybe I watch too much TV, but when I can predict the whole movie after watching 5 minutes of it, does not show much originality on the part of the writers.
