Yes, one star, but IMDB has to have negative ratings from this movie onwards...The characters are utterly weak. The plot, I'm not sorry to say: unexisting, meaningless. Do not waste your time, like I did. Run fast in the opposite direction. Please, do yourself a favor and go watch the paint dry, yes, it is "that" bad. Who writes those drivells? Furthermore: are we supposed to be astonished by this false pretense Woody Allen or a Wes Anderson "wannabe" sort of a movie? It is pitifull. The mother: crazy, bonkers, drunk. The son: looks retarded, stupid and lush. No one, in their right mind, would relate to this trash. This is the worst and most boring, tedious, film I have ever had the displeasure to watch. Michelle Pfeiffer is, likewise, trashy. Guess her career finished as my patience did with these sort of "insightfull" films. Is there still intelligent life on earth? I think not, myself included as my IQ plummeted down the drain after the "endind" scenes. Just terrible. Awfull. No endind at all, as well as a nonsense story. A solid negative 10.

This, so called movie, is totally wrong for different reasons... It pollutes the mind of the expectators, has an explicit and disnecessary scene. The villain exposes himself to a full size mirror, completely nude, emulating as is he was a female. That scene, hunts my imagination till this day. Jodie foster is the main attraction, alàs, the only thing worth it this piece of s ....t.... I strongly believe that movies like this serves Only, solely, for Hollywood to kaching some bling... Well no matter what I say...There are people whom still like this genre...
