The Suicide Squad (2021)
Perfection
If you could ask the universe for the most awesomest, the most epic, and just the perfect movie, Suicide Squad (2021) is it. I feel so fortunate to have witnessed this movie in all its mastery.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Masterpiece
Simple incredible. One of the best shows of the 21rst century. Regardless of your knowledge or interest in Chess, this show is so much more than that.
Considering Scott Frank's resume of un-memorable movies/shows, this came out of no where and what a memorable show it is!
Extraction (2020)
A rare jem
Forget 6 underground and Bird Box, those are complete crap movies that are popular for no reason. They were full of plot homes, cheesy acting, and terrible directing. Extraction sadly and probably wont garner the same attention, although I hope it does, but this is how you make a Movie! It is action packed from start to finish, excellent acting/actors, fantastic set pieces, great sound track, brilliant cinematography, and just perfect in every way. I cant believe this is a Netflix movie, this should of been a box office movie with this level of production. Chris Hemsworth has shown he can act in this movie, other than being Thor.
1917 (2019)
Watch it
I rely on imdb for ratings all the time, but never do i take the effort to leave one myself. I leave one for this movie because it really made an lasting impression on me. It doesnt happen often either.
The level of cinematography, music, and sound effects will take you on an emotional ride of your life.
This is just not a war movie, this is something more. Go live the experience.
Queer Eye: We're in Japan! (2019)
Extremely emotional season.
I have been a huge fan of Japanese culture for years. I grew up watching Anime and movies alike. It was amazing to see how appreciative and grateful Japanese people were to the Fab 5. A groundbreaking season I think. This season reminded me of season one, where it looked more deep into the peoples hidden suffering. How they even pulled it off so well, I cant even comprehend. I was so mad when it ended with only 4 epsiodes. I feel like this season was a great educational experience for Americans. All the bad reviews about subtitles and not understanding Japanese people only highlights the epidemic of ignorance in the American society.
