But then he decides to sabotage the party so the family will never want to have or celebrate Halloween again. He decides that the theme of the party will be the family will dress up as each other in order to pin the family against each other.
Ladybugs (1992)
Rodney finally gets respect...on the soccer field!
Easily my all time favorite Rodney Dangerfield film. Dangerfield stars as Chester-a hardworking guy who's in a deep committed relationship with Bess (played by Ilene Graff). He's looking for a major promotion at work and hoping he can have a better life with Bess as a result of it. Well, he doesn't get the promotion he initially wanted but has another opportunity. His boss, Dave Mullen (played by Tom Parks) offers Chester a shot at coaching an all girls soccer team known as "The Ladybugs" which would certainly increase his chances. Aided by his best friend, Julie Benson (played by Jackee' Harry), they work together to form a winning dynasty with the girls. Unfortunately, they are completely horrible at soccer coaching and the girls start off terrible. That is until Bess's son, Matthew (played by the late Jonathan Brandis) is recruited by Chester to dress up as a girl to be apart of the team to help them win. Well, Martha (Matthew) reluctantly agrees and that's when the laughs really kick in! Whether it's Matthew trying to avoid going skinny dipping with the girls or Chester dressing up as a woman pretending to be Martha's mom coming to pick him up, it just goes to show it really doesn't pay to lie. All in all, Ladybugs is a classic 90's comedy from one of the greatest comedy legends of all time.
Stranger Fruit (2017)
More propaganda in this film than any film by Michael Moore.
The filmmaker left out the most important facts which were all of them. Michael Brown robbed a gas station then he attacked a police officer trying to stop him. While attacking the officer he tried to steal the officer's gun. While attempting to steal the gun he got shot in the hand. Then he started to flee and then change his mind then he charge at the officer. The officer fired his gun hitting Michael Brown. Michael Brown stopped for a moment then he charged at the officer again and the officer fired again. At no point were his hands up and at no point did he ever say hands up don't shoot. Hands up don't shoot it was a lie. If Michael Brown didn't try to rob the store and didn't attack the officer he would have never been shot and killed.
