Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2020)
Loved it!
I went in expecting a few laughs, and I got much more. Having read some reviews that've been posted, I thought I'd weigh in my opinion.
Sure the movie had some obvious staged scenes, but there were a lot of genuine reactions by innocent bystanders. For example, the dance scene at the ball was genuine, Michael Pence, the scene with Trump's lawyer, as well as the song at the rally.
Some say the ending was rushed, but in my opinion, the ending tied the movie's plot VERY NICEly together. I had a hard time believing that Khazakhstan's president would send Borat on a mission as ridiculous as delivering a gift to Trump's second in line, just to get in the "big boys club".
So, for me, the ending made perfect sense.
I'm entitled to my views, and everyone else to their own :)
Trainspotting (1996)
Personal favourite
I've seen "Trainspotting" countless of times and it just never gets old.
You know that a film is pure gold when it makes you cry out of laughter, out of sadness, out of horror that is addiction and the vision behind it is so beautifully told that it gives you chills to the bone.
Also, every time i've finished watching Trainspotting, it leaves m
Arrival (2016)
Wasn't expecting anything special
I love movies with a twist, but only ones that deliver something I don't see coming.
I can imagine many saw the underlying plot twist of "Arrival" after only a few minutes into the film, but I for one was so invested in trying to solve the puzzle with our main characters that i got the wind knocked out of me.
This is one of the best films that have come out this decade.
Classic.
Battlefield V (2018)
Great, addictive multiplayer
I feel sick to the stomach when I read reviews that gave this 1-3 stars, and only single out bugs as the reason. You don't have to like the game, but you should at least shine more light on your opinion.
Sure, I would've preferred they launch it as finished as possible, but with a developer as big as dice behind it, you know they're going to fix everything they find.
The game is very good when you get past the bugs and just have fun. My favorite modes are Grand Operations, Frontlines and Team Deathmatch. Keep in mind, you have to take some time to play, these modes aren't all short.
There is not as much content as I would've liked, but more is on the way. Can't wait for their take on the battle royale mode!
