Brilliant

One of the best movies I've seen in years! Well written character development and excellent acting by Phoenix makes this movie a must see. If you want to explore the madness that makes this clown laugh, then you must experience the sadness and despair that he battles. If you think Batman is his archenemy, you would be wrong.

Great acting and very scary. Cusack is one of my favorite actors and he delivers in this film.

Good acting, too many f-bombs

The actors did a good job. I don't know why the studios need to put so many curse words into the script or push agendas. Liked the main idea.

Not a fan.

I don't get it. Tangled was way better, imho. Catchy songs, but I'm not buying that she was born that way. No reason given, no backstory as to what happened to give her ice and freezing abilities. Whatever.

Fun movie! Disney please make a Cave of Wonders ride at WDW!

Warning: Spoilers
When I first heard Disney was going to remake Aladdin, I was upset. I mean, how can you have the genie without the late Robin Williams? The honest answer is that it is extremely difficult. If you get someone who can sound and look like the late Mr. Williams, then that is probably not going to work for a live action movie, no matter how much I missed that voice and those impressions. What works about this movie is the fun you will have when watching it. You will want to sing along and dance. Seriously, Jasmine's voice is wonderful and we all know Will Smith can dance. (Aladdin dances great too!) The only thing I really need to happen is for WDW to give Aladdin a better ride than just the magic carpets, I want to animatronic it through the Cave of Wonders to the lamp, then 3-D it out of there! Why not? Imagine how awesome it would be to see Abu touch that jewel and know that you are going to have to escape and hopefully see the genie at the end? C'mon, Aladdin deserves better than Avatar! At least Generation X got this movie.

A Truly Magical Movie! Loved it!
17 January 2019
I am 43 and as a Generation X'er, I am skeptical by nature and am normally not inclined to introducing new actors into iconic roles. I loved Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins and now, Emily Blunt has made me fall in love with Mary Poppins all over again!!! When we left the theater, my husband and I felt like we had just left the Magic Kingdom - it is a magical movie experience! Worth every dollar to see on the big screen!! I couldn't be more pleased with Mary Poppins Returns. She is "practically perfect in every way". Emily Blunt has stage presence, the songs are pleasing and the story is extremely touching. (I watched Saving Mr. Banks and for those who don't get why Mary Poppins came back, missed the entire point of Mary Poppins, Saving Mr.Banks and Mary Poppins Returns.) We all need a Mary Poppins moment to remind us of what truly matters in life. So if you want to Trip a Little Light Fantastic, find out Where the Lost Things Go, and be reminded with a childlike heart There is Nowhere to Go But Up, then please see this movie and feel the magic!
