Reviews
Mulch (2013)
A Canadian B-Horror Classic
Can't say enough about how fun MULCH is to behold.
A labour of love by filmmaker Frank Pop Jr, that's worthy of being picked up for distribution by companies like Troma, etc. It has enough gore, demented laughs, and impressive camera moves to even satisfy an Evil Dead fan such as myself!
Mulch is a Canadian B movie treasure, and I can't wait for it to get a release so that I can add it to my collection.
Stare of Destiny (2009)
Highly original and interesting short!
Stare of Destiny was a great little short brimming with originality and style.
Set in a distant future where conflicts of all sizes are fought & settled in a single battle chamber - two combatants compete in a highly stylized and gueling staring competition to decide their respective sides futures!
The result is an original little piece of cinematic insanity from a creative and interesting mind. I definitely suggest seeking this one out, it should be available online via youtube, etc. Seek it out now while it's still available!

The Fantastic Four (1994)
Finally Seen It
Ah yes, the original unreleased Fantastic Four feature length film. I have recently seen this film and having read about the story and happenings behind it I couldn't help but feel impressed with what the filmmakers were able to do with such a small budget. I know it wasn't that great, but with what these poor fellows had to work with, I believe they did quite an amazing job. I'm just happy I was finally able to see such a film rarity and what they were able to do. The acting wasn't the greatest, the computer effects were, well, pretty rough but the writing wasn't too bad and, maybe its just me, but i was impressed with the things suit. I thought it looked good. Foam, rubber, I have no idea but it looked pretty nifty. Also with the new version having been released one wonders, what one is indeed the superior film?
