Tracy Lords and Mrs. Cellophane: Equity Audition
Audition piece for Equity that I loved and had a great time performing! I wanted to share with the world. Unfortunately, my music for Mr. Cellaphane was lower than my acapella vocal, so there was no musical accompaniment except for the Musical shorts played under the titles from Chicago's Mr. Cellaphane. The audition was two short monologues and 16 bars of a song: Tracy Lords from the stage play The Philadelphia Story when trying to super sell some property she gets upset when interrupted by an unwelcome visitor during her sales pitch and the Mr. Cellaphane song introduction scene in lawyers office when Amos finds out his wife was cheating it makes him feel invisible with vocal music improvised as Mrs. instead. Thank you for watching!
