The Writers take on the TV Series "Up on High Ground" - Extra featurette
The Writers take on the TV Series "Up on High Ground", Extra featurette with interviews from 2016. A year after the series ended.
Produced for the proposed DVD, this features interviews with the main three writers of the syndicated TV drama series "Up on High Ground". Along with actor Billy Patricks, who played Bogroe, Writers Bryan Kreutz, Lec Zorn, and Joanna Ferbrache provide insight into how the story arc played out and what was planned on paper and experiences on the set. Interviews occurred after the 9 episode series, with stories including what would have been a 10th episode titled "Pretty much Perfect" written solely by Lec Zorn. Writer Lec Zorn reveals he wrote a heavily recurring character named Michael Blake, who was a counselor and close to students and their teen trials. Ultimately the character Michael would be re-cast as a female and into the familiar character Kaidence Crews played by Jamie Fritz. Writer Bryan Kreutz reveals his favorite memory on the set in the segment titled "Favorite Memory off of stage left" since the actual scene existed off the nearby stage where performances were occurring. The descriptions, stories, and memories of this "featurette" refers to "behind the scenes" type bonus material of video, pictures, and full background of the series by this writing team. The behind the scenes story focuses primarily on the main cast of characters and how they were written. Also discussed were what the actors were like on and off the set for the series that aired on select CW stations, Pureflix and now available online at Amazon Prime.
