- A follow-up to the blockbuster movie of the same name, following the rich teenager Cher and her friends as they attend high school in Beverly Hills.
- A college student, branded a loser by his roommates and booted from the dorm, falls in love with a coed who has eyes for their condescending professor.
- A bachelor becomes the unwilling guardian of his autistic, intellectually disabled sister; then an experimental treatment works a dramatic change in her brain and his attitude.

- Dee, Murray and Sean travel to see Cher hoping to convince her to return. Then Amber also arrives wanting the same thing. The group uncover a serious crime, which ends up with Mel receiving a large reward. It's back to their old home.
- It's the first day of junior year in school and what to wear is the prime consideration. Then the girls have to arrive at the right time. In guidance class, Cher feels confronted when she is asked to map out her life for the next 10 years.
- Cher and Mel are in their new house in Bakersfield. Cher gets a job as a waitress and Mel looks for work. Meanwhile, Amber has a house-warming party in the ex-Horowitz mansion.
- Amber finds herself in traffic court and is found guilty. As part of her punishment, Amber has 100 hours of community service. This involves mentoring a young girl, a job for which she enlists the help of Cher and Dee.
- It's the end of the school year when Cher is shocked to find out that the Horowitzes are broke after Mel's business manager disappeared with all his money. Cher tries to help the family finances by having a yard sale.
- It's audition time for the the senior class play, Grease, and Dee wants to play the lead 'Sandy'. However, Cher gets the part, which upsets Dee. But somebody else also wants the part.
- Cher is upset when she is not accepted into Stanhope University. The problem is her English teacher, Mr Pimmler, who excels in putting students down. When she confronts him, he has a heart attack and dies.
- Cher and Dee are inspired to make stylish muff purses for their hands. Before long everybody at school wants one so Cher starts up a business making them. However, after selling them at a show the reality of running a business sets in.
- Oddrey was expelled from her previous school and has just transfered to Bronson Alcott High. After a bad encounter, Cher tries to befriend her. However, no matter what she tries to do, Cher only seems to make matters worse.
- It's the annual Bronson Alcott High valentines day dance. Amber becomes engaged to an elderly millionaire, and Cher and Dee feel that they must stop the marriage. Murray and Sean date a couple of unusual girls.
- When Cher is criticised by Mr. Hall as not living up to her potential, he suggests that she do some volunteer work to broaden her outlook. Cher and Dee end up beautifying a city park, which becomes a much bigger project than she expected.
- Cher is going to an 80s dance and is determined to leave with a boyfriend. She sees the man of her dreams across the dance floor but seems destined to be unable to meet him without being interrupted.
- When Cher's hair stylist ceases work, Cher is persuaded to go to Ka-feen, who gives her a disastrous shabob style. They are all are aghast at the result and her boyfriend drops her. Unfortunately, there is nothing she can do about it.
- Drivers Ed has started at school and Mel takes Cher on her first driving lesson. It turns out disastrously and Cher loses confidence. Soon everybody in the class has their licence except Cher. It takes a tragedy to inspire Cher.
- Cher and Dee are looking for a college to go to but Cher doesn't want to leave her father alone. They have to find somebody else to look after him.
- Rachel decides to look after her father and fixes him up with Sheila Kendall, the author of a book called 'First Kill All the Lawyers'. She is too successful and she suddenly finds herself being neglected.
- Dee and Murray have broken up and Cher unsuccessfully tries to get them back together. It then becomes a competition between them as they are determined to get a new date. The others help out at an old people's home and see their futures.
