Jelly Roll recently rode shotgun as Kid Rock performed one of his biggest hits in front of a huge audience. So, what was it about this recent performance that made such a statement?
Kid Rock Decked Out Tesla Cybertruck For Epic Performance
Kid Rock delivered a memorable performance on Saturday night during his Rock N Rodeo show outside of Dallas, Texas. He decked out his Tesla Cybertruck to look like the original 1969 orange Dodge Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard.
The singer already owns the original General Lee car. However, during his performance on Saturday night, he rode in with some famous guests as well. Driving the decked-out Cybertruck was none other than John Schneider, the original Bo Duke actor.
Along with that, Jelly Roll happened to be in the passenger seat. Together, they made quite the trio as Kid Rock went right into his hit single.

Musician Kid Rock waved a handgun drunkenly during an interview with Rolling Stone‘s David Peisner. Peisner, a reporter for the magazine, interviewed Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, at his home outside Nashville, Tennesee. Peisner claimed the interview was cordial until Rock became “drunk and belligerent.”
Peisner detailed the experience in an article titled “How Kid Rock Went From America’s Favorite Hard-Partying Rock Star to a Maga Mouthpiece.” The conversation veered toward former President Donald Trump and immigration. Rock went on a spiel about immigrants, calling them “murderers” and “rapists.”
“You can’t stop evil, but you doubt have to let them in so easily either,” Rock said. “We want great f—ing immigrants, people that want to come here, have a better life, work.”
“They’re murderers! They’re rapists! They are! Ms-13! They just did the girl over here! They just did the girl in Nashville!

No longer content with just owning the original General Lee car from the Dukes of Hazzard, Kid Rock mocked up a Tesla Cybertruck to look like the famous orange 1969 Dodge Charger.

A drunk and belligerent Kid Rock allegedly waved a gun in front of a Rolling Stone reporter while also repeating using the N-word and attempting to goad the reporter into a physical fight.
The encounter is described in detail by David Pesiner in a piece for Rolling Stone that was published late Sunday night. Pesiner visited Kid Rock at his Nashville ranch last month for what proved to be a dizzying, multi-hour interview, during which the Detroit rocker discussed his embracement of Donald Trump and right-wing culture wars.
As the drinks continued to pour and Kid Rock became more intoxicated and erratic, Pesiner described a scene in which the musician pulled out a black handgun and waved it in front of Pesiner’s face “to make some sort of point.” “And I got a fucking goddamn gun right here if I need it!” Kid Rock reportedly shouted. “I got them everywhere!

When You Visit Bob Ritchie at his home in the jagged hills outside Nashville, the guy who will likely greet you at the door is a tall, well-dressed, exceedingly polite gentleman who goes by “Uncle Tom.” Because of course he does. Ritchie makes his living as Kid Rock, but a big part of being Kid Rock these days involves doing things that are simultaneously provocative, offensive, and, at least to him, funny. It tracks, then, that a middle-aged white guy who began his career more than three decades ago in...

Less than a year ago, CMT pulled Jason Aldean’s controversial “Try That in a Small Town” music video, ostensibly because the song dealt in white-power tropes and the clip featured footage shot in a place where a Black man was once lynched. Reps for the network didn’t comment at the time on the ban other than that the video would no longer air, so the motives for removing the video perhaps remain unclear. Now the network is welcoming the singer back with open arms.

The WWE Hall of Fame has inducted many personalities who were in the WWE and wrestling industries and beyond. More than 200 inductees have been added to the Hall of Fame since then, with many two-time inductees included as well.
Apart from WWE superstars, the Hall is known to have inducted many celebrities who have supported the promotion as well. Be it politicians, singers, or baseball players, everyone has a spot in the ‘celebrity wing’ of the promotion. Incomprehensible Maga-land predictions that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce would rig the Super Bowl and endorse Joe Biden for president to 100 million American viewers as part of a massive psy-op turned out to have been greatly exaggerated. Mostly, they just kissed a lot.
But that’s not to say our nation’s fractious politics didn’t break through during the broadcast. While most of the ads involved the usual self-effacing celebrities asserting their cultural relevance — and some of them were crowd-pleasers and even funny — a number of them touched on some of the most divisive issues of the day: religion, the presidential race and Bud Light.
Going in, all eyes were on the last, the object of a polarizing 2023 boycott from conservative groups for having collaborated with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney on an Instagram campaign to promote March Madness. Sales slumped. Kid Rock strafed at Bud Light cases with his...

Turns out Donald Trump is terrified of Taylor Swift.
Never one to miss a ham-handed attempt to make anything about himself, the former president and almost certain 2024 GOP nominee took to his Truth Social just hours before the Super Bowl. In a swerving missive designed to garner maximum attention and distract from his other woes, Trump tried to taunt Swift, slag Joe Biden and even take a swipe at Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money,” Trump said with a reference to not only his White House rival but the Music Modernization Act of 2018. “Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”

Mark McGrath himself has confirmed Kid Rock’s long-held claim that he got “more ass than Mark McGrath.” The assertion was made on the title track of Kid Rock’s 2001 album Cocky, and 20-plus years later, the Sugar Ray singer attests that it’s “absolutely” true.
In the lyrics to the song, Kid Rock declared, “Got more money than Matchbox Twenty/ Get more ass than Mark McGrath.” On Monday (January 29th), the music outlet Rock Feed posed the question, “Did Kid Rock actually ‘get more ass than Mark McGrath’?” on X (see below), to which a gentleman by the name of Finn McKentry added, “We need @mark_mcgrath to settle the debate.”
Not too long after, the Sugar Ray frontman chimed in, “I’m going to have to confirm that he absolutely did, and extra points for rhyming ass with McGrath…hope that clears up any confusion.”

Rockstar, the star-studded rock’n’roll album by our November cover star, Dolly Parton, has arrived. Stream it below.

Dolly Parton is arguably the most beloved living American. How many people are alive today because Dolly told them to get the Covid vaccine back in early 2021? Of course, she’s a paragon of country music, but her reach goes far beyond Nashville, from the disco pop of her working-woman masterpiece “9 to 5” to the soft-rock bliss of her classic Kenny Rogers duet “Islands in the Stream.” And the crossover love has been reflected back; one of the most popular cover songs of all time is Whitney Houston’s...

Dolly Parton’s favorite word might be “no.”
She turned down Elvis Presley when he wanted to record her hit “I Will Always Love You” after his manager requested half of the song’s publishing rights. She initially declined her invitation to join the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And she forwent performing at the Super Bowl halftime show — several times.
Most artists wouldn’t pass on those golden opportunities, but this American treasure is unbothered.
“Oh, sure. I’ve been offered that many times,” Parton tells The Hollywood Reporter about the halftime show. “I couldn’t do it because of other things, or I just didn’t think I was big enough to do it — to do that big of a production. When you think about those shows, those are big, big productions. I’ve never done anything with that big of a production. I don’t know if I could have.

Click here to see the full list of Streamys winners.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, when Mulvaney partnered with Bud Light earlier this year, many people on the right started boycotting the popular Anheuser-Busch beer because she is transgender. Some conservative celebrities, including Kid Rock, even posted videos of themselves destroying cans of Bud Light.
By mentioning her desire to “go have a beer” in her awards speech, Mulvaney seemed to be poking fun at the controversy and at everyone who got so bent...

Bud Light was hit with backlash after partnering with transgender social media influencer and actor Dylan Mulvaney for an Instagram ad.
Among those who shared their outrage was Kid Rock, who posted a video in which he shoots up a few cases of Bud Light with a machine gun before delivering a pithy message to the beer manufacturer.

“F**k Bud Light,” he declares, extending his middle finger, “and f**k Anheuser Busch.”

However, the “Bawitdaba” singer’s stance toward the beer has apparently softened.
On Friday, an X (formerly Twitter) user posted a pair of photos taken at Thursday’s Colt Ford show at Nashville’s Skydeck on Broadway, in which Kid Rock is clearly seen hoisting a can of Bud Light.

Not that we ever expect Kid Rock to be much of a stand-up guy, but we now have new photographic evidence that he’s not always a man of his word. Just a few months after posting a video of himself decimating a case of Bud Light with his beloved Ar-15, the singer was spotted sipping a cobalt blue can at a Colt Ford concert in Nashville Thursday night (August 17th).
To catch you up to speed, Kid Rock got his panties in a wad back in April after Bud Light partnered with Dylan Mulvaney, a content creator and transgender woman. Just a couple of days later — and not even a week after a school shooting in his Nashville hometown left six people dead — Kid Rock really tried to stick it to the man by presumably purchasing a case of Bud Light, just so he could take a video of...

Some classic rock songs were controversial before they were completed. For example, a famous backup singer for The Rolling Stones initially refused to work on Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama.” She said a horrific historical event made her turn down the song at first.
The Rolling Stones’ ‘Gimme Shelter’ is connected to Lynyrd Skynyrd
Merry Clayton is a backup singer perhaps best known for duetting with Mick Jagger on The Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter.” During a 2013 interview with The A.V. Club, she said fellow backup singer Clydie King told her she could sing on “Sweet Home Alabama.” Clayton didn’t like the idea but her husband, Curtis, said she’d do it.
“I get off the phone and said, ‘Curtis, why are you telling Clydie that I’m going to be at a session that I do not want to do? You know I’m not going to sing...

Ron DeSantis has pushed for legal inquiry into Bud Light’s marketing, after a recent ad campaign featuring transgender celebrity Dylan Mulvaney.
The Times of London reports that the Republication presidential candidate and Florida governor has sent a letter to the State Board of Administration, encouraging legal action against Anheuser-Busch (Ab InBev), the company that owns Bud Light.
A recent ad campaign featured transgender personality Dylan Mulvaney, a decision that has polarised potential customers. While Garth Brooks has spoken out in support of the campaign – saying he will sell the product in his Nashville bar – many customers have boycotted the beer, and Kid Rock posted a jarring video of himself shooting cases of Bud Light with an assault weapon and screaming “f*ck Bud Light!”
In April, Mulvaney spoke out for the first time about the controversial campaign, using TikTok to tell followers:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has called on his state’s Board of Administration to explore legal action against Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch (Ab InBev), under the guise that a stock devaluation resulting from conservative boycotts against the brand is affecting Florida’s pension fund.

Leave it to Kid Rock to make a big stink about something in the name of “morals” only to keep profiting off of it. That’s what the musician is doing with Bud Light, which is still sold in his Nashville bar despite him previously proclaiming, and I quote, “Fuck Bud Light.”
The hysteria started after Bud Light befriended transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, partnering with the internet personality for a marketing campaign and sending her a few custom cans of beer featuring her likeness. Kid Rock, like many other conservatives with nothing better to do, then took to the internet to prove that he is way more “triggered” than liberals have ever been, posting a video in which he shoots at cases of Bud Light with a semi-automatic rifle.

Jack White has lashed out against celebrities including Guy Fieri, Mark Wahlberg, Joe Rogan, and Mel Gibson for normalizing former president Donald Trump.
“Anybody who ‘normalizes’ or treats this disgusting fascist, racist, con man, disgusting piece of shit Trump with any level of respect is Also disgusting in my book,” White wrote in an Instagram post on Monday. “That’s you Joe Rogan, you Mel Gibson, you Mark Wahlberg, you Guy Fieri. This is a statement from me, not a discussion/debate.”
Over the weekend, Trump was photographed chatting with Fieri, Wahlberg, Rogan, and Gibson at UFC 290 in Las Vegas. Among that group, Fieri’s hobnobbing is perhaps most surprising. The celebrity chef has long presented himself as apolitical, and recently joined Rage Against the Machine on the road. Then again, he’s good friends with Trump’s golfing buddy, Kid Rock.
White has grown increasingly outspoken about his political views in recent years.

Never one to pass up the opportunity to “own the libs,” The Beach Boys’ Mike Love made a clunky attempt to joke about the conservative boycott of Bud Light during a recent concert (via Reddit). Before going into “Surfer Girl,” the avid Trump supporter sarcastically told the crowd that he was apprehensive about doing the song because it’s “gender specific.”
“This song I’m a little concerned about doing on account… it’s gender specific,” Love said. “I hope there’s nobody from Budweiser here or the FBI. Sorry, I apologize in advance for anything I may say or do. It’s a family tradition. This is dedicated to all of the ladies.” Watch the fan-shot footage below.

Still crying over your cans of Bud Light? Well, that’s too bad, because TikTok star and trans actress Dylan Mulvaney wants the right-wing media — and Bud Light — to know that no amount of backlash will stop her from fighting for her community.
Best known for her viral TikTok series Days of Girlhood, Mulvaney’s status as a visible and unapologetic trans entertainer has made her a target of harassment. And in early April, a small collaboration the influencer posted with Bud Light quickly became the main focus of conservative talking heads.

Anheuser-Busch InBev is getting ready to pour cold beer on a brewing controversy.
After getting tangled in the nation’s culture wars with a Bud Light social-media promotion that included transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney — a move that unexpectedly resulted in boycotts, diminished sales and a decision to put on leave two marketing executives who oversaw the effort — the company hopes to move on with a new ad campaign that focuses on the many summer activities that present an appropriate moment for the beer, one of the best-known beverages in the United States. “Good Times,” the sunny 1978 hit by the dance-music group Chic, plays throughout.
“We want to show up in all relevant occasions in summer — backyard barbecues, stadiums and sports venues,” says Todd Allen, an Anheuser-Busch veteran who was recently named vice president of Bud Light, in an interview. “That’s what counts and that’s what we are focused on.

Garth Brooks isn’t backing down in the face of anti-trans backlash — in fact, he’s pushing back.
The country music superstar caused a firestorm last week when he announced his new Nashville, Tenn., bar would serve “every brand of beer,” referencing last month’s saga that saw Bud Light face backlash and vitriol from conservative critics in the U.S. for partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for an Instagram ad.
Brooks first made it clear that he does not stand for the transphobic boycotts of the Anheuser-Busch brand of beer last week in a conversation with Billboard.
“I want it to be a place you feel safe in. I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another,” Brooks told the outlet.

Country superstar Garth Brooks has stated that his new Nashville bar will sell Bud Light, and that the establishment will not tolerate transphobia.
Brooks made the revelation during a panel at Billboard Country Live this week. His “Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk” is named after one of his biggest hits, and the venue is scheduled to open in Nashville’s Lower Broadway area this summer. Many country artists have opened bars in the area bearing their names.

Influencer Dylan Mulvaney, 26, has broken her silence after her partnership with Bud Light elicited backlash, mostly from conservatives who condemned the company for working with a transgender woman. After staying away from social media for a couple of weeks, Mulvaney posted a video on Instagram on Thursday to explain her experience in the midst of the controversy.

Earlier this month, Mulvaney posted an advertisement for Bud Light on Instagram to promote a prize contest and show off beer cans that displayed her face. The company had given her these custom cans to celebrate the anniversary of her 365 Days of Girlhood series, which documented her gender transition on TikTok.
The post led celebrities like Kid Rock to boycott the company. The singer even posted a video of himself shooting cases of the beer.
Mulvaney received hateful comments online, leading the beer’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, to send out a statement.

Saying at first she “decided to take the back seat and let them tucker themselves out,” Dylan Mulvaney posted a video to TikTok today announcing she’s had a change of heart. Mulvaney, of course, is the transgender influencer who promoted a Bud Light March Madness contest on her accounts and sparked a firestorm.
Conservative entertainers and politicians railed against Budweiser, calling for a boycott. An agitated Kid Rock posted a jarring video of himself shooting cases of Bud Light with an assault weapon and screaming “f*ck Bud Light!” Others, both famous and otherwise, followed suit.
Mulvaney said today that what convinced her to speak out was not a desire to address critics, but the need to address the nearly 13 million people “who at some point liked me enough to hit the follow button on these apps.”

Whoopi Goldberg and her cohosts on ABC’s The View weighed in today on the recent Budweiser controversies, reminding the beer-maker that, as the show’s Ana Navarro said, members of the LGBTQ community “are Americans too.”
The conversation follows recent conservative backlash to backlash and boycott calls over Bud Light’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Goldberg, beginning the Hot Topic debate by noting that Budweiser was her beer of choice before she quit drinking, asked what conservatives are “so angry about – beer is not a Democrat or a Republican, it doesn’t have a belief system. It’s just beer.”
After releasing the campaign that featured Mulvaney, the Bud brewers faced pushback from Maga supporter Kid Rock – who shared a video of himself shooting his rifle at cases of Bud Light – and country singer Travis Tritt, who announced a ban of Anheuser-Busch products from his tour.

Hoping to win back the audience that abandoned Bud Light and other affiliated products in the wake of its endorsement deal with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Anheuser-Busch has launched a new ad featuring its most iconic image.
The new patriotic ad, released Friday, shows a Clydesdale horse walking past famous landmarks ranging from New York City to the Grand Canyon, with a solemn voiceover delivering a patriotic message.
“This is a story bigger than beer,” the narrator says. “This is the story of the American spirit.”
At one point, the ad shows two people raising an American flag, with one placing a hand over her heart.
“Brewed for those who found opportunity in challenge and hope in tomorrow,” the ad’s narrator says.

ITV’s new true crime drama, The Hunt for Raoul Moat, tells the astonishing story of Britain’s biggest manhunt, which took place in 2010 after Moat – a former bouncer and bodybuilder – shot three people just days after being released from prison.
The three-parter focuses on the innocent victims of Moat’s crimes – Christopher Brown, Samantha Stobbart and PC David Rathband – as well as the police officers who put themselves in the firing line in their quest to apprehend Moat, and the local journalist who sought to tell Moat’s real story.
Lee Ingleby stars as senior Northumbria Police Officer Neil Adamson, with Sonya Cassidy playing local journalist Diane Barnwell and Matt Stokoe portraying Moat.
Certain details – such as footballer Paul Gascoigne’s unlikely involvement in the case – have been left out of the dramatisation.
