Berlin market-bound “The Trouble With Jessica,” which stars Rufus Sewell, Shirley Henderson and Olivia Williams, has launched its first trailer. It is being repped for global sales by Parkland Pictures.
The black comedy tells the story of two couples who find themselves having to move a dead body to ensure their imminent house sale doesn’t collapse.
Sewell (“Old”) and Williams (“The Father”) play one of the couples, Richard and Beth, while Henderson (“Harry Potter”) and Alan Tudyk (“Rogue One”) play their friends Sarah and Tom. Indira Varma (“Obi Wan Kenobi”) plays the eponymous doomed Jessica.
In the first trailer, which Variety unveils exclusively below ahead of the film’s Berlin market premiere later this month, the two couples are seen panicking after their friend Jessica dies by suicide in Sarah and Tom’s garden just as they are on the brink of selling the house for some much-needed cash.

Prince Azim, film producer and the son of the Sultan of Brunei, has died, according to CNN. He was 38 years old.
The country’s government confirmed he died on Saturday morning, but did not disclose the cause of death. Vice, however, reported that the prince had been in the hospital “for quite some time.” The funeral, CNN reported, took place on Saturday, after which the nation entered a seven-day mourning period.
Azim was fourth in line to the nation’s throne, and was the sultan’s second-born son, known for hosting lavish parties with celebrities like Pamela Anderson, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey attending.
He also served as a producer on various films like 2014’s “You’re Not You” starring Hilary Swank, “The Time of Their Lives” starring Joan Collings and “The Happy Prince” starring Colin Firth.

Need a good laugh, but only got an hour and a half? Might we recommend this little lot...
I’m of the firm belief that films work most effectively when their runtime is 90 minutes or less. It forces an economy of story and dialogue which propels the film into its best self. No bloated middle, extended ending, or wasted stories here. This goes double for comedies. They should never outstay their welcome. But they seem to be getting longer, as we recently pointed out here.
So to refresh your movie comedy palette, here are 25 films that are 90 minutes or under. I’ve tried to avoid the more obvious ones, and shine a light on those comedies which might have gone a bit unappreciated over the years, but are well worth a hour and a half of your time. This lean runtime isn’t a guarantee of greatness of course,...

Joan and Pauline Collins' collaboration on a new buddy movie has been hailed as inspired. So which other stars with the same last name ought to get together pronto?
Joan Collins and Pauline Collins – very much the gatekeeper and keymaster of famous people called Collins – are finally making a film together. Their collaboration, a British comedy called The Time of Their Lives, has been described by at least one person named Collins as a "buddy movie along the lines of Thelma & Louise, with a hint of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel".
While the world prays that The Time of Their Lives will be successful enough for Joan Collins and Pauline Collins to finally pair up with Lily Collins and produce that Phil Collins-soundtracked remake of Michael Collins that we've all been waiting for, here are six more Hollywood namesake collaborations in the making.

Director: Charles Barton.
Writers: Val Burton, Walter DeLeon and Bradford Ropes.
Cast: Marjorie Reynolds, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello
Abbott and Costello is a comedic team that brought about a resurrection for Universal Studios. Their films from 1948 to 1953 brought back the monsters from the Golden Age of Hollywood legend and it made for some very good laughs. For the most part, these films were a modest success. The most widely recognized is Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, but the list does not end there.
However, the least recognized of these films is a product that does not involve them meeting anyone other than themselves in a twist of a Buddhist tradition. Bad karma finally caught up on Cuthbert Greenway (Bud Abbott), and he has to right what his ancestor did wrong.
Perhaps that's one of the ironies of why The Time of Their Lives is still enduring today. The script...
