I have to agree with something the other reviewer said in their "Show Keeps Getting Worse" review, about how the acting in M3S isn't great, but at least one part of that review is just plain false.
The actor playing Johnny Crawford (oddly enough, a real actor who played Mark McCain on The Rifleman) is the same actor throughout this episode. His name was Johnny Washbrook and he played "Eddy Burke, Hazel's nephew on Hazel. He just had glasses on in a later scene with Mr. MacMurray but it's still him, it was not two different actors. How that was mistakenly reported is beyond me.
Also, technically, the show "lasted over 9 seasons", although having lasted for 12 seasons, the reviewer could have said, "How it lasted over 1 season..." and still technically been correct. Why randomly choose the number nine?
I do agree with the reviewer that the acting isn't anything to write home about in this series. Fred MacMurray certainly phones in his parts - it's clear that he doesn't have much interest in the show - and the other actors aren't Shakespearean in any sense of the word. But, it's a goofball sitcom, it isn't meant to be a great work of art.
