Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story (2020)
Holy S##t...It was hard to belive Indian web series could be of this quality.
Honestly, I was blown away. This is the only Indian web series I found which doesn't use overly melodramatic scenes. Usually Indian TV series in general stretch the story to the point it almost gets frustrating. But not this one. Do your self a favor and watch it now!
13th (2016)
Raises valid points but also very one sided propoganda
It's good watch if you are interested in watching shortfalls of criminal justice system, but at the same time end segment is very poorly edited to show biased one sided propoganda. I kind of expected that but still was hoping it would be more informative instead of political. Well in current climate you have to kinda learn what to get from documentary and what to ignore.
Never Have I Ever (2020)
Light watch highschool drama with multicultural twist
Good binge watch if you are looking something mildly funny! Basically uses the similar formula as other Mindy Kaling shows, funny one liners and goofiness. Not gonna lie, I only started watching because it has Indian character as a lead. And being an Indian I can say most of the stereotypes are spot on, although some of the stereotypes around women are too old and doesn't hold on in current age. Anyways Good watch in quarantine world at least!
La casa de papel (2017)
Why so much hype?
I don't get it , I could barely stand season 1. Why most of the people I know are crazy about this totally predictable cliche show. There were exactly 2 moment where I felt like watching an actual heist show.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
How in the God's name this movie is suddenly getting positive reviews here
I am not gonna lie I genuinely think, Disney is spending big bucks to boost rating here and damage control in all the wiki pages of awful last two star wars. It contains more excuses and theory of why they have negative rating instead of actually responding to criticism. Honestly there is not much to see in this movie except it meets the low bar set by it's predecessor.
Joker (2019)
Exactly what you expect from Joker
I admit, I was skeptical of this movie before going for the premier show. It was a great experience, the acting, direction and story was perfectly executed. Through out the movie you feel the emotions as intended by director and actor. the only reason I am giving 8/10 is because I am comparing with TDK, this movie is excellent of rone time theater experience but not something I would like to see multiple times at home like the former one.
Men in Black: International (2019)
Feels like a parody of MIB
Not sure what went wrong but movie tries too hard to be funny when it should have focus more on story, anyway was waste of such talented cast and MIB sequel
Ghoul (2018)
Religious bashing and propaganda was unnecessary for this unoriginal average "horror" show
The stupidy of the plot and religious propaganda takes away the fun, not only it's offensive to hune part of audience but also sharp contrast from reality.
