On a new episode of his SiriusXM program “Ozzy Speaks” with co-host Billy Morrison, Ozzy opened up about the intense stem cell treatments he’s been undergoing as of late.
“I’ve just come back from the doctor after having some stem cells put in me,” he said after Morrison asked him about his health.
“The thing is, you have it, and you go, ‘I don’t feel that great,'” said Ozzy of the therapy, “but I don’t know what it would be like if I didn’t have it.”
He continued: “This stuff that I have, it’s kind of like a super fucking stem cell, you know? They put three bottles in me this morning. I had one about three months ago and this was a follow-up,...

At one point watching The Invisible Fight my vision started to separate. That was likely a function of exhaustion, my eyes have been corrected by lenses for decades, but for a moment I wondered if the magic of cinema now extended to literal simultaneity of perspective. A madcap meditation on various orthodoxies, some of them Russian, some of them Soviet, some of them with harmonica by Ozzy Osbourne. Its iconography is a mixture of film grain and gilt on wooden panels, soft focus from smoke damage to gatefold album sleeves.
It unfolds across chapters or stations whose titles are displayed in fonts that recall bands from Birmingham that spawned genres that spawned Scandinavian biker gangs or Golden Triangle action films so cut by piracy and different audience tastes that they are less stepped down than kicked out. There are moments whose cranked action recalls the work of Millers George (Mad Max...

The Prince of Darkness was first eligible to be nominated into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2006 — the same year the institution finally inducted the band he cofounded in 1968, heavy-metal pioneers Black Sabbath. But Ozzy Osbourne wasn’t actually considered for induction by himself until this year.
Last month, Osbourne told Rolling Stone the anticipation of finding out whether or not he’d be inducted was driving him crazy. “It’s an honor that I’m nominated, but I’m not expecting to get in,...

Ozzy Osbourne is known to many as the Prince of Darkness, but now he’s got a new nickname: “The Betty White of Rock ‘n’ Roll.” That comes courtesy of Peter Frampton, a fellow inductee in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024.
Frampton was asked by Rolling Stone about Ozzy getting in the Rock Hall for the second time (he was also inducted as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006), and the guitar hero responded, “The man is the Betty White of rock & roll.”
We’re not sure Ozzy will be using that as a tagline anytime soon, but Frampton was surely relating the metal icon’s long-lasting career and lovable persona to that of the beloved late Golden Girls actress. As far as potentially jamming with Ozzy on a rendition of “Crazy Train” at the Rock Hall induction ceremony this October, Frampton enthused, “That would be fantastic.

Guitarist Mick Jones acknowledged the honor with a statement listing the band’s fellow classic members Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliot, Al Greenwood, Rick Wills, the late Ed Gagliardi, and the late Ian McDonald. As announced on Sunday night (April 21st), Ozzy Osbourne is among the 2024 inductees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist, and the legendary singer has said this one “feels different” than his 2006 induction with Black Sabbath.
Ozzy offered up his reaction to Billboard via email, sharing humbling remarks about his post-Black Sabbath career.
“I’m more than honored,” Ozzy said, saying the nod “feels big.” After all, this comes after his wife Sharon blasted the Rock Hall last year for not considering Ozzy as solo act even though he’s been eligible since 2005.
He admitted that he didn’t necessarily feel “confident” about embarking on a solo career in 1980 following his time with Black Sabbath. But his late guitarist Randy Rhoads sparked the magic, co-penning iconic hits like “Crazy Train” and two seminal albums: 1980’s Blizzard of Ozz and 1981’s Diary of a Madman. Ozzy has...

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the names of 16 artistes who will be inducted in 2024. According to ‘Variety’, the diverse list includes R&b/rock pioneer Big Mama Thornton, pop superstars Cher and Dionne Warwick, as well as 1970s-rooted rockers like Peter Frampton, Foreigner, and Ozzy Osbourne, alongside 1990s icons such as the Dave Matthews Band and Mary J. Blige.
Jimmy Buffett’s inclusion among the inductees comes as a surprise. His entry is unexpected not only because the late singer/songwriter was not on the ballot this year but also because he had never been nominated before.
‘Variety’ reports that the Rock Hall’s committee, seemingly in a sentimental mood after Buffett’s passing seven months ago, chose to honour him via a separate, non-voted category for “musical excellence”.

It’s easy to draw a lot of conclusions from the title of Ozzy Osbourne’s new single with friend Billy Morrison, “Crack Cocaine,” without listening to it. But the singer says it’s more nuanced than that. “The song’s not about crack cocaine,” the Prince of Darkness tells Rolling Stone on a call from his L.A. home. “It’s about being in love with a chick. But it’s kind of what you might think Ozzy Osbourne would do. It’s, like, the two loves in my life: drugs and women.

He then co-founded the rock super-group ‘Velvet Revolver’ which re-established him as a mainstream artist in the mid to late 2000s.
In 2010, Slash released his debut album ‘Slash’, which rose to #3 in the US Album Chart following its release in April 2010. A film chronicling the relationship between Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne is in the works.
A biopic about Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne is still in the works.
The as-yet-untitled film was formally announced in October 2021, when it was confirmed that both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s music will feature.
Sony Pictures and Polygram are behind the project, which will focus on a twenty year period between 1979 and 1999. Lee Hall, who won huge acclaim for his screenplay for Elton John biopic Rocketman in 2018, will write the script.
Sharon and Jack Osbourne revealed the update on their podcast The Osbournes (as picked up by Planet Rock), where Ozzy, in typically unabashed style, commented on the slow progress of the film, saying “By the time it’s eventually filmed, I’ll be dead! I wanna be alive to f—ing see it”.

Back in 2020, it was announced that a biopic on the tumultuous relationship between Ozzy Osbourne and his wife/manager Sharon Osbourne was in development. While not much has been revealed since then, the Osbournes — including kids Jack and Kelly — have some strong opinions on who should play the lead roles.
During a new episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Jack posed the question, “Who do you want to play you guys?” To which Kelly responded, “I know who I want to play mom — Florence Pugh. I think Florence Pugh would do a fantastic [job].”
Sharon added, “I think Florence Pugh or the little girl from Game of Thrones,” with Jack clarifying that she meant Maisie Williams.
“You know who I want to play dad,” continued Jack. “Bill Hader … Everyone thinks I’m fuckin’ crazy until I show a side-by-side picture, [not to mention] that guy’s ability to morph [into a character].”

Along with the announcement of their new “Voyage to the Blue Planet” 2024 tour in celebration of The Blue Album’s 30th anniversary, Weezer will be releasing a deluxe version of their seminal 1994 debut this year.
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo confirmed the new deluxe version during an interview on Audacy Check In, and mentioned that there are unreleased Weezer tracks about to be unearthed. “They just sent me this giant box set with like four albums in it, so I was just looking at it before I walked in here,” Cuomo told Audacy host Kevan Kenny, “There’re a lot of old show recordings and rehearsal recordings. Like very early Weezer.”
When asked if Cuomo knew the release date of the new tunes, he couldn’t say much, but does assume that they’ll be out before Weezer embarks on their “Voyage to the Blue Planet” tour in September. Elsewhere in the interview with Audacy,...

Liam Gallagher has already made it clear he thinks the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is “full of Bumbaclarts,” and now he says the nomination of artists like Mariah Carey only reinforces his opinion.
Carey is one of this year’s 15 Hall of Fame nominees alongside Oasis and the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, and Sinead O’Connor. Speaking with The Sunday Times, Gallagher expressed that being nominated with such a range of artists devalues the whole idea of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: “As much as I love Mariah Carey and all that, I want to say: do me a favor and fuck off. It’s like putting me in the rap hall of fame, and I don’t want to be part of anything that mentally disturbed.”

Controversy’s favourite child, rapper Kanye West has landed into another trouble.
He is being taken to court by the late Donna Summer’s estate.
The late singer’s estate has alleged that he used a sample of the singer’s hit song without permission, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’.
Kanye, Ty Dolla $ign, Ye’s record label, and more are allegedly being sued by the estate for using Donna’s 1977 song ‘I Feel Love’, according to legal documents.
The ‘Gold Digger’ rapper released his first album in his ‘Vultures 1’ compilation earlier this month. Donna’s estate claims that the album’s song ‘Good (Don’t Die)’ included vocals of the late disco diva after the estate “explicitly denied” them permission, according to the suit.

Donna Summer’s family is feeling the opposite of love for Kanye West. In a new lawsuit filed Tuesday, Summer’s husband Bruce Sudano alleges West and collaborator Ty Dolla $ign engaged in “blatant theft” when they sampled Summer’s iconic 1977 hit “I Feel Love” on their recently released Vultures 1 song “Good (Don’t Die).”
The copyright infringement complaint says West and Ty Dolla $ign, whose legal name is Tyrone Griffin, “shamelessly” stole the instantly recognizable hook from Summer’s disco classic after they asked for permission to use it and were “explicitly denied.

Earlier this month, Ozzy Osbourne revealed that he refused to allow Kanye West to sample a performance of Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” for a new album. A few weeks later, the metal legend is standing by his actions against the rapper, saying, “It’s wrong if you don’t say anything about him.”
Ozzy initially lashed out at Kanye after learning that a sample of his performance of “Iron Man” from the 1983 US Festival was present in the track “Carnival” during a listening party for Kanye’s new collaborative album Vultures 1 with Ty Dolla $ign.
The metal icon revealed that Kanye included it in the track despite being denied permission to use it, writing at the time, “Kanye West asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of ‘Iron Man’ from the US Festival without vocals & was refused permission because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.

The influence of Todd McFarlane can be felt wherever you look in current entertainment. Whether it’s the phenomenal toys that bear a striking resemblance to their real-life counterparts or characters like Venom appearing in his third film venture, it’s hard not to take note. McFarlane created some of the best characters of the 90s in both Venom and Spawn. Heck, his design of Spider-Man is still one of the most memorable out there. And with his proposed Spawn film starring Jamie Foxx and Jeremy Renner languishing in development hell, you better believe we asked him about that!
It was an absolute pleasure to be able to talk with McFarlane about his varied career. While he was pretty reserved in regard to his future projects, he was a wealth of knowledge when it came to toys. We discussed how his company was able to improve toys as a whole,...

Kanye West’s new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures 1, may not be available on streaming services for much longer as its distributor is “actively working with its Dsp partners and the client to remove Vultures 1 from our systems.”
According to Billboard, Vultures 1 was initially distributed to streaming platforms such as Spotfiy and Apple Music over the weekend by a company called Fuga. The only problem? It was done so without Fuga’s approval.
“Late last year, Fuga was presented with the opportunity to release Vultures 1,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to Billboard. “Exercising our judgment in the ordinary course of business, we declined to do so.”

The Vultures 1 rapper – accused last week of sampling Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” and Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” without permission from Ozzy Osbourne or Summer’s estate – is no longer facing claims he uploaded the video of his infamous Thanksgiving 2021 “Kimye” rant to Instagram without the consent of the volunteer who filmed it.

Gallagher expounded on his thoughts in Twitter replies to fans. He called the Hall of Fame “a load of bollox” and said, “I don’t need some wank award by some geriatric in a cowboy hat,” he wrote. He also encouraged fans to vote for other nominees, such as Sinead O’Connor and Mariah Carey.
Liam also said that while he is not interested in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he suspects his estranged brother and bandmate,...
