In addition to Boyle, the limited series’ cast includes Tobias Menzies (Outlander) as Lincoln’s right-hand man Edwin Stanton, Patton Oswalt (The Sandman) as Lafayette Baker, and Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass) as President Abraham Lincoln. In the strange world of Hampton DeVille, things are still tenuous at best. For the criminally oversized multinational corporation that forms the backbone of the Comedy Central series “Corporate,” all is still not enough.
Junior executives in training Matt (Matt Ingebretson) and Jake (Jake Weisman) are still trudging through an office environment where breakroom coffee drama can still drive everyone in nearby cubicles to their breaking point. IP rights become a cutthroat game of chicken with Hampton DeVille’s rivals. And hallway gossip of course remains a fixture in all its forms.
For all the existential dread that’s blanketed “Corporate” since its premiere in 2018, at a point when that drudgery should feel more restrictive and hopeless than ever, there’s something about Season 3 that manages to find some peace amidst that daily buildup. Maybe part of it is that this last batch of six episodes is the show’s farewell.

Comedy Central's Corporate will close shop with its third season.
Get ready for one more soul-sucking shift at Hampton DeVille, as Comedy Central has renewed their critically praised scripted comedy series Corporate for a third and final season.
The half-hour series, which debuted in 2017 as the highest-rated basic-cable primetime comedy of the 2017-18 season among males 18-34, saw viewership decline in Season 2, but critical marks soar; Corporate Season 2 currently sits at 100 percent on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Created by Pat Bishop, Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman, the series stars Ingebretson and Weisman as junior executives-in-training at the soulless mega-corporation Hampton DeVille. The duo must navigate the office politics and needless bureaucracy put in place by egomaniacal CEO Christian DeVille (a hilariously unhinged Lance Reddick) and his top, sychophantic executives John and Kate (Adam Lustick and Anne Dudek). What do you think of Matt and Jake's job performance season of the Corporate TV show on Comedy Central? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Corporate is cancelled or renewed for season three. The Performer | Regina Hall
The Show | Black Monday
The Episode | “364” (Jan. 27, 2019)
The Performance | Wall Street in the 1980s was a painfully lily-white boy’s club, so it took a special kind of woman to break through — and luckily, Hall’s foul-mouthed trader Dawn is just that kind of woman. This week, Dawn stood up for herself and demanded a big promotion, and Hall sealed the deal with a dynamite performance.
Dawn bickered with her boss/ex Maurice about his ill-advised purchase of Georgina Jeans and ended up quitting in a huff, with Hall effortlessly rattling off Dawn’s rapid-fire, expletive-laden dialogue.

Even Comedy Central's big-name scripted series, like South Park, earn relatively low Nielsen ratings, but the basic cable network keeps putting out content, probably because its audience skews younger, and a lot of them watch On-Demand or stream their programming. The Corporate TV show, created by Pat Bishop with stars Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman, did well enough to return for a second season. Will this be the end, or will it be with us for years to come? Will Corporate be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.

Welcome to “TV Take,” Variety‘s television podcast. On this week’s episode Daniel Holloway, Variety’s executive editor of television, talks with the creators of Comedy Central’s “Corporate.” Later, TV critics Daniel D’Addario and Caroline Framke preview the shows they’re looking forward to in 2019, and Holloway discusses Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards with Michael Schneider, senior editor for TV Awards.
Pat Bishop, Matt Ingebretson, and Jake Weisman created the dark workplace series “Corporate,” which is set to premiere its second season on Jan. 15. Ingebretson and Weisman also star in the show, and Bishop acts as director.
Weisman says although shows like the British and American versions of “The Office” paint the corporate life in a goofier, more positive light, they wanted to depict it in a more honest way: bleak and unending.

When last audiences saw “Corporate,” the Comedy Central show was capping off an inspired debut season with a finale built around a company-created celebration called Remember Day. It’s probably not easy to try to outdo a singalong partly rooted in a heartwarming satire of 9/11 remembrances, but that’s where Season 2 comes in.
Co-creators Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman are back as the two central junior executives at the massive multinational corporation Hampton DeVille. Through their eyes, all the twisted, bizarre, and altogether Hr-defying behavior inside the corporate inner circle become the basis for some very funny and very dark shenanigans. Matt and Jake’s fluorescent-lit cubicle may not have changed much, but it seems as though there have been plenty of developments outside the walls of their repetitive-stress environment.

A good actress or actor will be able to make you love them, feel for them, and in some cases absolutely hate them and wish all kinds of misfortune on them. Anne Dudek is great at this as she’s played a few characters that people would love to see karma deliver into all sorts of awful scenarios. But that’s what makes her great, she knows how to play a role that is so despicable and irritating that she can tweak the emotions of a viewer beyond all reason until they actually want her character to just disappear. Any actor that

Anne Dudek isn’t a soulless corporate drone, but she’s having a really good time playing one on TV.
“I have zero office experience,” says the actress, whose 17-year career includes gigs on House, Covert Affairs, Mad Men and The Flash, among many of your other favorite shows. “But I find it fascinating!”
Dudek’s latest role, Kate on Comedy Central’s Corporate — which premieres tonight at 10/9c — is an ambitious executive at a corporation where humanity is leached from employees as they climb the corporate ladder. (No seriously, it’s a comedy.)

Don’t be fooled by the faint glow of the employees at Hampton DeVille. Though there might be a glimmer around the faces of the characters on the new Comedy Central series “Corporate,” that’s not the beaming of eternal optimism; it’s the fluorescent glimmer of souls slowly leaving the bodies of their hosts. And against all odds and human resources guidelines, it’s instantly one of the most fascinating comedic experiments on TV.
“Corporate” follows the exploits of Matt (Matt Ingebretson) and Jake (Jake Weisman), two Junior-Executives-in-Training. They’re anything but aspiring climbers of the corporate ladder, yet they keep getting pulled into some of the absurd hijinks at Hampton DeVille, from lower-level firings to ambitious craft beer integrated marketing schemes.

Stars: James Callis, Anne Dudek, Amiah Miller, Natasha Bassett, Michael Bowen | Written by Josh Burnell | Directed by Adam Gierasch
Despite his output being less than prolific, I’ve been a huge fan of director Adam Gierasch for years – ever since I saw Autopsy and his stellar remake of Night of the Demons (one of the “good” remakes, even though the original is a stone-cold classic). House by the Lake is only his third feature since those films, though he was a part of the portmanteau Tales of Halloween in 2015. Surprisingly, unlike the rest of his oeuvre this film is the first Gierasch has directed that he hasn’t written – and it shows. House by the Lake is unlike any of his other films; feeling very much like a low-budget family drama instead of the usual balls to the wall horror Gierasch is associated with.

Random Media turns a picturesque retreat into a destination of terror in House By The Lake, the latest film from veteran genre scribe Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons, Tales of Halloween, Fractured, Autopsy), with a script by newcomer Josh Burnell.
A struggling couple, Scott and Karen, pack up their troubled young daughter and head to a picturesque lake house to reconnect and put their problems behind them. As Emma spends time with her new nanny, the little girl begins fixating on an imaginary friend she calls the Fish Man. Karen’s fear of the strange man down the beach, Emma’s fear of the water and her recurring sleepwalking continue to raise tensions in the house and drive a wedge between Scott and Karen until one night Emma disappears. When she’s found breathing underwater in the tub, Emma insists she’s been with the Fish Man. And he’s coming back for her.
