Hallmark Channel announced today that production is set to begin on His & Hers (working title), a new, original movie starring Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott.
The two starred in the All My Heart series of films, cementing their on-screen chemistry, and later starred together to solve mysteries on Hallmark Mysteries.
They are an unbeatable duo for Hallmark Media, and now we can look forward to more on-screen magic.
Set to premiere later this year during the network’s annual Fall into Love programming event, the movie reunites Hallmark’s beloved on-screen couple Chabert and Elliott for the 10th time since their first on-screen pairing back in 2015.

Hot on the heels of their Flowers in the Attic: The Origin limited series, Lifetime’s dipping back into the V.C. Andrew well for a movie event based on the bestselling Dawn Cutler series. Stargirl‘s Brec Bassinger is confirmed to star as Dawn and Emmy Award winner Donna Mills (General Hospital) has signed on to star as Lillian Cutler.
The cast also includes Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block) as Michael Sutton, Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives) as Ormand Longchamp, Khobe Clarke (Yellowjackets) as Jimmy Longchamp, and Fran Drescher (Indebted) as Agnes Morris.
Linda-Lisa Hayter will direct the first two films of the movie event series: Dawn and Secrets of the Morning. Jacquie Gould is set to direct Twilights Child and Midnight Whispers, with Georgy Small and Richard Blaney attached as writers. Iliza Shlesinger’s latest comedy special with Netflix titled “Hot Forever” — her sixth for the streamer — has set a release date for October 11. The Avalon-produced special was filmed at the Connor Palace in Cleveland this past July.
The special was directed by Steven Paley, with Shlesinger serving as executive producer alongside Avalon’s Kara Baker and David Martin. Her previous specials with Netflix include 2019’s “Unveiled,” 2018’s “Elder Millennial,” 2016’s “Confirmed Kills,” 2015’s “Freezing Hot” and 2013’s “War Paint.”
