The Teen Titans have proven remarkably flexible since their mid-1960s debut as a collection of sidekicks. They appealed to the young readers with Bob Haney’s laughable “hip” language and as the readership grew up, so too did the members of the team, addressing adult issues with changing times and tastes.
They were propelled from mid-list to top-seller status by the Marv Wolfman and George Pérez run starting in summer 1980. These were teens on the verge of adulthood and had problems and issues that the college-age readership were drawn to. The blend of supernatural, science fiction, and super-heroics meant the stories could, and did, go anywhere.
In 2003, things went full-circle as the more mature incarnation was youthified for younger viewers as the Teen Titans hit the Cartoon Network in a five-season run. This success led to the even younger Teen Titans Go! so all the characters and their conflicts...

The Sharks are about to win Big in #Sharknado4. Hitting @Syfy on July 31. #The4thAwakens https://t.co/hHt6P6XtXt
— Sharknado (@SharknadoSyfy) June 1, 2016 Viva Shark Vegas!
A new trailer for the fourth installment of the Skarknado series has been released, and a whole new school of sharks is terrorizing the people of Las Vegas.
In the clip, Finn Shepard (Ian Ziering) is in a state of disbelief that he has to deal with titular predators yet again.
But the moment that's worth the price of admission is when a Chippendales dancer (which, ahem, Zierine once was) uses the family jewels to deflect a shark.

Disney Channel has picked up the freshman comedy That's So Raven for a second season. The show, which stars Raven (NBC's The Cosby Show) as a psychic teen who can see glimpses of the future and change the course of events, is set to begin production today on the new season. "Even before we launched this sitcom, we knew Raven and her fellow cast members were gems," said Gary Marsh, executive vp original programming and production at Disney Channel. "Each has their own brand of physical comedy, and together they are like The Carol Burnett Show meets In Living Color for kids and families." After a big launch in January, which posted records for a Disney Channel original series premiere in households (3.0 rating) and key demos including kids 6-11 (8.4) and tweens 9-14 (8.1), Raven has established itself as a hit for the channel, running neck and neck in the ratings with the juggernaut Lizzie McGuire. Co-starring on Raven, from Brookwell McNamara Entertainment and Disney Channel, are Orlando Brown, Anneliese van der Pol, Kyle Orlando Massey, T'Keyah Crystal Keymah and Rondell Sheridan. David Brookwell, Sean McNamara, Marc Warren and Dennis Rinsler are executive producing.
