This article contains spoilers for the Young Sheldon series finale.
After witnessing George Sr.’s (Lance Barber) death in the last moments of the penultimate episode, fans knew that the Young Sheldon finale was going to hurt. However, this two-part finale is also by far the most well-written and beautiful hour of the series.
It’s a showcase of grief and healing, featuring each family member dealing with this monumental loss in a different way with Sheldon (Iain Armitage) at the center of it all as we say goodbye to the Cooper family. Ending a series is never an easy task, especially when it includes a fan-favorite character’s death, but somehow, the writers have made sure the story ends on a hopeful note.

Mitchell will play a new staff member at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center in the new season of Chicago Med, TVLine reports. Dr. Mitch Ripley is an ER physician with a past connection to Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt), the hospital’s head of psychiatry. He comes from a troubled background, which led him to cross paths with Dr. Charles when he was growing up.
The addition of Mitchell to the Chicago Med cast comes after several high-profile exits in season 8, including the departures of Brian Tee, who played Dr. Ethan Choi, and Nick Gehlfuss, who played Dr. Will Halstead. Both had been with the show since its first season.

NBC’s The Voice Season 24 welcomed Reba McEntire as Blake Shelton’s country superstar replacement. While we greatly miss Shelton, McEntire is easily stepping into her role. Recently, she touched on fellow country-turned-pop sensation Taylor Swift’s current relationship status with Travis Kelce. And McEntire made it clear she’s (jokingly) not happy about what she’s hearing.

Reba McEntire has (unserious) beef with Taylor Swift.
The 68-year-old country singer revealed while speaking to Today.com that she’s pretty jealous of Taylor‘s rumored romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.
Keep reading to find out what she said…
“Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him,” Reba said, jokingly. “Now I can’t have a crush anymore because he’s dating her.”
“I was so devastated,” she exclaimed, calling Travis her “boyfriend that cheated on” her.
The acclaimed musician is actually already in a relationship with actor Rex Linn, anyway. They’ve been seeing each other since 2020, and he knows all about the Taylor and Travis speculation.
Reba recalled, “When he and Taylor started dating, Rex said, ‘Your boyfriend’s got another girlfriend.’ I said, ‘Rub it in.’”

A new episode of the Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? video series has been released this morning, and in this episode we’re looking back at one of the least popular films to be directed by the legendary John Carpenter: the 2001 release Ghosts of Mars (watch it Here). Why didn’t Ghosts of Mars turn out to be another Carpenter classic? We try to figure that out in the video embedded above.
Directed by Carpenter from a script he wrote with Larry Sulkis, Ghosts of Mars has the following synopsis: Long inhabited by human settlers, the Red Planet has become the manifest destiny of an over-populated Earth. Nearly 640,000 people now live and work all over Mars, mining the planet for its abundant natural resources. But one of those mining operations has uncovered a deadly mother lode: a long-dormant Martian civilization whose warriors are systematically taking over the bodies of human intruders.

Ackles breaks down the finale, Beau’s feelings for Jenny, and more. I have to say how seamlessly Beau has fit into the world of Big Sky since his introduction last season. The first time we see Reba McEntire employ her considerable powers of persuasion as no-nonsense judge Kim Wheeler in a new Lifetime movie, The Hammer, she’s dressing down a deputy pointing a gun at her after she was clocked going over 100 mph on a rural highway. The second time, she’s using her gavel to clean the clock of an angry perp as he rushes the bench. And so south-central Nevada’s new traveling circuit judge earns the nickname “The Hammer.” The country music icon resumes her U.S. concert tour in March, but she tells TV Guide Magazine she’s been having “a blast” on The Hammer and ABC’s Western crime thriller Big Sky: Deadly Trails — especially because her real-life beau Rex Linn (Young Sheldon) costars in both projects. “She doesn’t stop moving,” he marvels. “I’m telling you, man, she’s like a great white shark.

Jenny then goes home to find bloody towels and her mother waiting. And Cassie (Kylie Bunbury), on the hunt for the bleeding heart killer, ends up at Buck’s (Rex Linn) door … and he has a knife. Showrunner Elwood Reid teases what’s ahead. Cassie’s potentially in danger at the end. Elwood Reid: Cassie’s the one that’s been instigating the whole idea of Buck hiding something. In her accomplished 32-year acting career, country music icon Reba McEntire had never played a villain until Big Sky: Deadly Trails. “That’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while,” she says. “I’m really loving it.” And it shows. On the Montana-set crime drama’s third season, she beams as perfectionist Sunny Barnes, who runs Sunny Day Excursions with her slightly cowed husband, Buck. Her tightly controlled life is rocked when a hiker and then a Sunny Day camper named Paige (Madalyn Horcher) go missing. (Paige’s situation was revealed on October 19.) Fearing the involvement of her disturbed secret son Walter (Seth Gabel), who is hidden in a nearby cabin, the mama bear shows her claws. As private detective Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) closes in — and fellow country singers Lyle Lovett and Darius Rucker pop up as trackers in the November 2 episode — Sunny and Buck are increasingly desperate to misdirect her.
