Timothy Bouslaugh
- Transportation Department
Timothy was always destined to build cars. As far back as receiving his first Hot-Wheel, he was always finding ways to modify them, swapping 4x4 chassis under most of the toy cars he had. As he grew older the drive to create and fabricate grew as well. Hot-Wheels turned into Go-Karts, which turned in Baja Bugs, Jeeps and Muscle cars. Timothy would buy these with money saved up from yard work around his block and was able to acquire multiple vehicles before he even had a driving permit. During his free time, he would take hand tools, grinders, torches and welders to these and make them into his own version of the original.
During high school, the electives he chose through all four years where predictable to say the least. Taking agricultural mechanics, and auto shop and receiving a scholarship, first of its kind from his school which the entire maintenance department saved up for and presented him. Never detouring from his passion, he proudly accepted the scholarship and enrolled into Wyoming Technical Inst. in Laramie, WY. where he studied Diesel Technology and Chassis Fabrication & High-Performance Engines. After graduation, he headed into the work force, going from dealership to independent repair shops, to building off-road trucks for a fab shop in San Diego and building Hot Rods at a SoCal speed shop.
Timothy was presented a new idea when a good friend in the industry suggested he look into building picture cars, that it was right up his alley. So, he got in touch with some shops which specialize in such work and using all the training he had gathered through the years, followed down that path and is now helping create full scale versions of his childhood dream cars!
