Paola Magrans

Paola is an accomplished sound professional with a background in film and television sound production. She graduated from the University of Arts, Cuba in 2013 with a B.A. in Sound for Film and Television. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in various aspects of sound production, including live broadcasting mixing and sound post-production for television shows and feature films.
Paola's work has earned her numerous awards and nominations, including a Los Angeles EMMY AWARD for her work on Kobe Bryant's last game, a GOLDEN REEL award for her work on OZARK, and ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATIONS for both Sound Editing and Mixing for ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD.
Paola has also worked on several Marvel movies, including DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE of MADNESS and ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA, as well as the show WHAT IF...
Her most recent work as Sound Designer is the PARAMOUNT + film HONOR SOCIETY (2022) and the independent movie The Last Rafter, that premiered at the Miami Film Festival and was the opening night film for LALIFF Connect 2020 where she gave a Master Class on Storytelling through Sound Designe.
