Janelle Sadler began performing in St Petersburg beach coffee shops and clubs in her teens and worked her way up in the Florida music scene. After twice winning the locally coveted award of "Best Female Vocalist Of Tampa Bay", a surprise chance to tour singing backups for Donny Osmond encouraged her to move to Los Angeles.
Touring the world extensively with acts like Natalie Cole (3 years) and John Phillips (The New Mamas And The Papas), she has also sung backups to stars which include: Denice Williams, Mandy Moore, Michael Bolton, Helen Reddy Richard Marx, Mickey Dolenz, Bret Michaels and Peter Tork. She was honored to record two lead vocals with famed bassist Chuck Rainey (Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin) for his Japan album "Rainey/ David T. Walker Band."
In LA, Janelle worked with the prestigious Susan DeBois Agency, playing private events all around Southern California in venues like the Beverly Hills Four Seasons, The Beverly Hills Hotel, Pelican Hill Resort, The Coronado Hotel/San Diego, Disney Hall, The Getty museum....just to mention a few.
She has appeared with Natalie Cole on the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno", "The Rosie Show", The Today Show" and has sung lead and backup vocals for TV series, including "Weeds, Brothers And Sisters and "Smallville."
In 2010, Janelle was cast as the emotional lead singer in one of three bands on the 5 episode VH1 reality show 'Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp' Her TV band "Tugboat Circus" won the series finale's "battle of the bands."
