Mike was born to be an action man. Joining HM Forces at the age of 16 he trained to become a combat frogman, he went on to specialize in small arms, explosives and bomb disposal and became part of HM Elite Special Forces RN CD, seeing many theaters of operation worldwide. Leaving the services behind, he became involved in the Offshore Oil Industry, moving rapidly from deep sea diver to sub-sea Operations Manager to Company Owner Managing Director of one of the world's largest sub-sea consultancy. It was from his base in Aberdeen that he found time to pursue his love of fitness, power sports, sailing and horse riding in which he has become highly experienced. Competing in such diverse challenges as Britain's Strongest Man, Horse Three-Day Eventing in which he won many competitions as well as show-jumping, and bodybuilding, where he became Scottish Champion qualifying him to compete in the international arena, he achieved no less than 5 x Masters Mr World titles and 2 x Mr Universe titles with the World Fitness Federation. He was honored in 2005 in Italy with the Grimek International Award for outstanding contribution to sport. A host of other awards followed - In 2010 he was given the highest Honor within the WFF, a place in the Hall of Fame and the prestigious "Living Legend Award". As a qualified Yacht Skipper, Mike regularly competes on his own yacht, in International Regattas around the Mediterranean. His acting career started in 1994 by default, due to his sheer size and physical presence, he found himself in Braveheart (1995), he went on to make several feature films such as Gladiator (2000), The Planet (2006), One Day Removals (2008), City of Hell, Life on the Line and a brief appearance as Frank Findlay in Emmerdale Farm (1972). After defending his 5th World Fitness title, a serious heart attack in 2006 slowed Mike down to a gallop and led him to concentrate on acting; since then he has worked alongside the likes of Andrew Garfield, Sean Bean, David Morrissey, Peter Mullins, Tara Cardinal, John Henshaw, Billy Murray, Craig Fairbrass and many others. More recently he was privileged to secure several major roles, having returned from Turkey, where he shot the new Corporate Vodafone Commercial in Turkish and was involved in Skyfall (2012). Filming in Italy on an all action Hollywood/Italian Horror, Uwe Boll's Zombie Massacre (2013). Whilst there he was given the opportunity to have a Cameo role alongside Tara Cardinal in Legend of the Red Reaper (2013). He recently filmed Pearls of Africa in shot in Kenya and UK as Sir John Reece. Played as Martin in Dilip's Castle (2016). Was 2nd lead in Italian film Morning Star (2014) playing 3 different roles (The King, Old Man and Monk) in a fantasy thriller. 2016 filming The Legend of Mordred (2019) in UK co-producer and actor Drest the Bandit. Dark Highlands (2018) was filmed in the Highlands of Scotland in which he played The Ghillie. This film won several Awards. October 2017 saw him awarded the Prestigious Order Of The Scottish Samurai "Great Shogun" for outstanding work in Charity. This film won several Awards. 2018 saw him playing the King Xalvador in Dragon Kingdom (2018) (Order of Kings). 2018/19 saw him playing Father John in Islamophobia (2022), filming in Antalya/Duce/Turkey, the Netherlands and Germany. At the same time he did a voiceover in English for Silent Angel (2018), shown at Cannes 2018. Spring 2019 saw him filming in Bodrum Turkey in Aylan Baby (2022) playing an English Skipper, later filming Mendilim Kekik Kokuyor (2020) (My Handkerchief Smells of Thyme) in which he plays an Australian Anzac Army Officer, this film due for cinema release in March 2020 earned him an Award at the Trakya film Festival for "Best performance of a Foreign Actor in a Turkish Production". After graduating from school with a high school diploma, Alfred Biolek studied law. Following his doctorate, he worked as a legal advisor at ZDF from 1963 to 1970. From 1970 Biolek worked as a producer for "Bavaria GmbH" in Munich. The programs "Am churning" with Rudi Carrell and "Bios Bahnhof" from 1978 to 1985, which was also moderated by him, were created here. The content of the shows was humorous reports on current topics, with numerous stars and starlets from the media industry being guests. The evening was accompanied by games, music and conversations. For these productions, Biolek was awarded the "Adolf Grimme Prize" in 1983. From 1985 to 1991, the program "Mensch Meier" was broadcast under the moderation of Bioleks.
From 1990 he worked as an honorary professor at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. The successful show "Boulevard Bio" started in late 1991, in which the popular talk show host had conversations with various personalities from art, politics, sports and media in a relaxed and sometimes private atmosphere. From 1994 onwards, Biolek also presented the cooking show "alfredissimo", in which he cooked for his guests and they cooked for him. After 12 years and 485 editions of "Boulevard Bio", the TV presenter stopped his popular talk show on June 11, 2003. However, Biolek continued to stay with the television audience through his cooking show "alfredissimo". Biolek also appeared with his company "Pro GmbH" as a producer for successor Sandra Maischberger, who has occupied the slot of the departed talk show host on ARD since September 2, 2003 with her talk show "People at Maischberger".
He was the first German to be appointed UN Special Ambassador for World Population on November 23, 2000 in New York. His charitable work is dedicated to the AIDS problem in Africa, to help which he founded the "Alfred Biolek Foundation - Help for Africa" in 2005. During his career, Biolek was awarded several prestigious awards, including the "Golden Camera" (1993), the "Bambi" (1994), the "German Book Prize" (2002) and the "Karl Valentin Order" (2003). . In 2008 he was honored with the "Golden Camera" for his life's work. In 2009, Biolek was awarded the German Television Prize - honorary award for his life's work. On July 9, 2009, on the occasion of his 75th birthday, ARD broadcast a gala entitled "Thank you, Bio" from the Cologne E-Werk.

Anna Gross began her career with an 8 year stint with Dino De Laurentiis, where she worked in various capacities on 14 films, including Death Wish (1974), Three Days of the Condor (1975), The Shootist (1976), King Kong (1976) and Ragtime. She then served as Vice President of Production for Sydney Pollack, working on The Electric Horseman (1979) and the development of Tootsie (1982) and Out of Africa (1985).
Gross spent much of the 1980s working in Germany with European uber producer, Bernd Eichinger. She oversaw production of The NeverEnding Story (1984), The Name of the Rose (1986) and Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989). She then returned to established Constantin Film's Los Angeles operation.
In the early 1990s, Gross served as Vice President of Production for Italian producer/distributor Vittorio Cecchi Gori. She was the key executive on the Oscar winning Mediterraneo (1991), Giuseppe Tornatore's The Star Maker (1995) (best foreign language nominee), The Postman (1994) (five nominations). She handled the US sale and delivery of these films and was point person for Miramax on its distribution and Academy campaigns. She oversaw production for the Italian financier on Robert De Niro's directorial debut A Bronx Tale (1993). Her last project there was the Oscar winning Life Is Beautiful (1997).
Anna then began her own niche business of overseeing Oscar campaigns for foreign films. She has handled 11 nominees, including Eichinger's personal productions, The Baader Meinhof Complex (2008) and Downfall (2004).
She is an alumnus of Columbia University, Graduate Film Division, and a founding board member of the non-profit, FilmAid International.
