- TriviaAlexis makes her first appearance in this episode (the last one of the season), but she's played by an extra. The producers wanted Joan Collins for the role, but the network thought she was too old. The producers fought for Collins all summer and won. She made her debut in the role in the first episode of the second season.
- GoofsIn the closing scenes when Claudia and Lindsay are driving the view behind the vehicle appears as flat surroundings with green lawns and curbed streets, but in the next view it shows the road ahead prior to the crash, and the road is hilly with barren land and a road lacking curbs.

Fallon Carrington Colby: [exiting the courtroom] Steven, how could you say that? How could you say what you did in there? That I lied?
Steven Carrington: It's the truth, isn't it? Fallon, it's judgment day for all of us.

Blake on trial
The first season of "Dynasty" has by now degenerated into a courtroom drama. I don't care for courtroom dramas, and did lots of fast-forwarding.
Blake is on trial for what should have been manslaughter but which a self-serving prosecutor with his eye on the governor's office (Brian Dennehy) has decided to call first degree murder.
Like all these evening soap operas the last episode of the season has to have cliffhangers. This episode has several.
In retrospect we suspect a few things coming up. But since I paid no attention to these shows when they were first broadcast, some of the cliffhanger solutions will be a surprise to me.
