In fact, O'Neill is now a prisoner of the Goa'uld System Lord Ba'al. While with the Tok'ra O'Neill had agreed to been implanted with a symbiote which would allow him to heal. Sam explains that only the symbiote could have knowledge of the base, and O'Neill would know nothing of it. - The Tok'ra Thoran reports to SGC that recovering O'Neill has gone missing after walking off their base with symbiont Kanan. In fact he was captured by Ba'al, who plans to keep torturing Jack, with sarcophagus 'raising from death', to extract whatever he remembers from Kanan, actually very little, and even refuses to divulge even that: Kanan had an affair with Ba'al now also locked-up love slave Shallan, probably a spy ploy. Between torments, he is being held in a fortress too well protected for Stargate Command to attack, lacking a mothership. However, O'Neill is helped through his ordeal by ascended Daniel, who although forbidden from taking action tries to provide mental guidance. After ample speculations with Sam's team and Thoran, Jonas thinks of motivating Lord Yu to lend assistance by attacking Ba'al's secret stronghold as SGC reveals it, so Jack has a chance to escape.—KGF Vissers
- Healed after being nearly killed by an Ancient virus, O'Neill finds himself held captive on a planet controlled by the Goa'uld Ba'al. O'Neill was brought here by the Tok'ra symbiote that healed him and Ba'al wants to know why. When O'Neill cannot give him an answer, he soon finds himself being tortured by Ba'al. As Carter, Teal'c and Jonas Quinn attempt to go through the Tok'ra records to find out where O'Neill was sent by the symbiote, O'Neill is killed and brought back to life many times by Ba'al and his only hope to keep his sanity comes in the form of the ascended Daniel Jackson.—timdalton007
