Storyline

- GoofsWhen Iroh plays the song for the crying boy, he strums his instrument like a guitar. The instrument he plays, however, looks like a traditional Chinese instrument that is played upright while sitting down and is too heavy to be carried like a guitar. However, in the purely fictional world of Avatar, there are many things which would be impossible or "wrong" in reality. In this specific case, just because the instrument looks like a certain real Chinese one, doesn't make it the same one, if only because China doesn't even exist in this fictional world.
- Quotes
Mugger: So you really think I could be a good masseur?
Uncle Iroh: Of course.
Mugger: This is so great. No one has ever believed in me.
Uncle Iroh: While it is always best to believe in one's self, a little help from others can be a great blessing.
[cut to Iroh on a hilltop under a tree. He builds a makeshift altar and places a picture against it]
Uncle Iroh: Happy birthday, my son. If only I could have helped you.
Uncle Iroh: [sings, crying] Leaves from the vine/ falling so slow/ like fragile, tiny shells/ drifting in the foam/ Little soldier boy/ come marching home/ Brave soldier boy/ comes marching home.
