- Cameron Mitchell must go undercover inside the Lucian Alliance to find the location of the hijacked Odyssey.
- While Lt. Colonel Carter is aboard the Odyssey, it hits a minefield and loses contact with Earth. They are captured by the Lucian Anateo, who kills the ship commander Emerson, and ultimately wants to replace Netan, whose leadership of the Lucian Alliance is highly contested. The other team members have no starship available, but Vala 'finds' a lousy Goa'uld craft and, with Daniel, Mitchell and Teal'c, tracks the Odyssey's signal to her dodgy acquaintance Shamus, only to be trapped there and brought to Anateo, but escape in a Ha'tak vessel. Col. Mitchell uses a hallucinogen to make Netan believe he is the mysterious Lucian Kefflin, finds Teal'c a captive and 'takes over' his torture, but is recognized by a space pirate Tenat who knows him as a bounty-hunter and just wants a cut.—KGF Vissers
- The Odyssey is lured into a trap by the Lucian Alliance and falls under their control. With Lt. Col. Samantha Carter a prisoner, Anateo -an ambitious member of the Alliance- sets his sights on capturing all members of SG-1. At the SGC, Vala volunteers to use her contacts to get a ship to investigate what has happened but it leads to her and Daniel also being taken prisoner by Anateo. Mitchell suggests that he go in undercover using the drug used by Daniel that will make others see whatever he wants. His plan works until he is unmasked by someone from his past. Sam, Vala and Daniel regain control of the Odyssey leading to a confrontation with Netan.—garykmcd
- The Odyssey is attracted to a trap organized by Anateo, one of the leaders of the Lucian Alliance, and all the crew is captured when the Odyssey is seriously damaged. Soon, Colonel Paul Emerson is killed in cold blood by Anateo's right hand, Solek, and Sam is forced to repair the systems of the Odyssey. Anateo's intention is to overthrow Netan from the command of the Lucien Alliance. Soon, Daniel and Vala are also captured by Anateo. Meanwhile, Mitchell decides to pose as Netan's cruel friend, Kefflin, who is not well known by the other leaders, and he injects a drug to change his appearance to lure Netan.
