- TriviaThe smurfball scene in "Vanity Fare" was shortened in the syndicated version. The scene included Smurfette head-butting the ball and Vanity appearing in a cloud of dust saying, "Careful, my mirror!"
- GoofsIn "Jokey's Medicine," Jokey played a joke in front of his fellow Smurfs by wearing a long cloak and a jack-o'-lantern on his head. However, the jack-o'-lantern is made from pumpkin, a fruit that was unknown to Europeans until it was imported from North America in the 17th century. Also, the making of jack-o'-lanterns (made from cutting pumpkins to resemble human faces) originates in the 17th century. The Smurf cartoon series is based in the late Middle Ages (circa 14th-15th century), too early for the appearance of pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns in Europe.
