Exclusive: Alex Moffat (Saturday Night Live), Joel David Moore (Avatar franchise), Lizze Broadway (Gen V), Urzila Carlson (upcoming Ozi: Voice of the Forest), and Francis Benhamou (Arranged) are the final additions to the cast of Netflix and Happy Madison’s rom-com Kinda Pregnant, starring Amy Schumer.
Details as to their roles are under wraps. Directed by Tyler Spindel (The Out-Laws), the film’s ensemble also includes Jillian Bell, Will Forte, Damon Wayans Jr., Brianne Howey, and Chris Geere, as we were first to report.

Pete Davidson Horror ‘The Home’ from ‘The Purge’ Director James DeMonaco Bought for U.K. (Exclusive)
Signature Entertainment has acquired the U.K. and Ireland rights to the Pete Davidson (“The King of Staten Island”) horror film ”The Home” from Miramax.
The feature was produced by Bill Block (“Halloween Kills”) and Sébastian K. Lemercier (“The First Purge”) and is directed by James DeMonaco (“The Purge” franchise) from a script co-written by DeMonaco and Adam Cantor. Last year Lionsgate bought the film for the U.S. after it screened for buyers outside of competition at the Toronto Film Festival.
“The Home” follows former foster child Max, who begins working at a retirement home, where he quickly discovers that its residents and caretakers are harboring sinister secrets.

Ozi: Voice of the Forest, the star-studded animated feature produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, has been picked up by Signature Entertainment for the U.K. and Ireland.
The film, produced by Gci Film and Appian Way, features the vocal talents of Laura Dern (Marriage Story), Amandla Stenberg (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games), Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond), RuPaul (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Dean Charles Chapman (Game of Thrones) and Rachel Shenton (All Creatures Great and Small).

Growing up in an animal sanctuary, she uses her influencer skills to save her parents and home from deforestation. The movie will carry the Climate Change Stripes created by Professor Ed Hawkins and Reading University, designed to visualize climate change and spark conversation.

Searching For Sugarman producers Passion Pictures are in production on a feature documentary about Superman star Christopher Reeve, directed by McQueen filmmakers Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui.
The film will chart Reeve’s rise to becoming a film star, including his portrayal of Superman; and his life following his near-fatal horse-riding accident in 1995 that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Following the accident, Reeve became an activist for spinal cord injury treatments and disability rights.
Passion Pictures and Misfits Entertainment, producers of McQueen, are producing the title.
