Haley Bennett (Cyrano, Swallow, The Girl On The Train) is set to lead Night and Day, Justine Waddell’s adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s novel, to be directed by BAFTA nominee Tina Gharavi (I Am Nasrine, Cleopatra: African Queens). WestEnd Films has boarded the the German-Irish-u.K. co-production and is introducing the project to buyers in Cannes.
Set in an era when glass ceilings were made of concrete, Bennett will play Katharine Hilbery — one woman who insisted on reaching for the stars. Based on what has been called Woolf’s funniest novel, Night and Day is described as an “unromantic comedy” about a passionate astronomer who does everything she can to avoid romantic love and marriage. Contemporary in tone, the story of Katharine’s bold challenge to the Edwardian patriarchy is set against the backdrop of the suffragette movement and advances in science and technology, at the turn of the 20th century.

From TorontoFilm.Net, Sneak Peek more of producer Bryan Fuller's TV series adaptation of "Sandman" author Neil Gaiman's "American Gods", premiering debuting April 20, 2017 on Starz:
"....'Shadow Moon' is a man serving three years in prison for assault. With only days remaining in his sentence, Shadow is given an unexpected early release after his beloved wife 'Laura' dies in a car accident. Flying home for the funeral, Shadow is seated next to a man calling himself 'Wednesday', who offers Shadow a job, he seems confident Shadow will accept.
"Arriving home, Shadow finds that the life he thought was waiting for him is gone. With no other options, he accepts Wednesday's offer. At first, it appears that Wednesday is nothing but a con artist who runs scams for cash and needs Shadow as a collaborator and bodyguard. Shadow soon learns that Wednesday is in fact the god 'Odin' of 'Norse' mythology.

A slick wolf of Wall Street finds himself in a grimy pigeon loft in rural Flanders in Flying Home, an English-language feature from Oscar-nominated Belgian director Dominique Deruddere. A film that plays like a Lasse Hallstrom adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel, except that neither Hallstrom nor Sparks were involved in any capacity, this classically confectioned melodrama is noteworthy mainly because it offers former Calvin Klein model and future Fifty Grades of Grey star Jamie Dornan his first romantic lead role, which should be enough to attract the interest of smart niche distributors who could time the film’s

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ release date postponed to Valentine’s Day 2015 (photo: Shirtless Jamie Dornan) Valentine’s Day 2015 will get a lot kinkier than Valentine’s Days of years past — well … depending on your concept of "kink." Universal Pictures has announced that the movie version of E.L. To be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy), Fifty Shades of Grey is set to star Henry Cavill-look-alike Jamie Dornan (Flying Home) as billionaire and S&M aficionado Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson (21 Jump Street) as his ready, willing, and able sex pal.
