Famed Director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Grindhouse, From Dusk Til Dawn) selected A Girl and Her Zombie as his favorite short and licensed it to air on his television network for a year. A Girl and Her Zombie made it's television debuts on The El Rey Network on August 27, 2016 during the Children of the Corn Marathon.
Tom Arnold watched A Girl and Her Zombie after the Director Tim Richardson had the honor to act with him on a TV Show. He loved the movie and is quoted as saying, "I loved it. So originally weird. I wanted to see more which is the best compliment I can give. It affected me (hope that makes sense) I started with a "I've seen every version of Zombie anything there can possibly be" to be honest. But I was wrong and very pleasantly surprised. I'm guessing it affects different people in different ways depending on their own life experience and that is..I'm going to say it...ART."
The Director Timothy J. Richardson (Who plays the lead zombie Bingo) directed the entire movie in full zombie makeup with the steel Rottweiler muzzle clamped on his face. Lintu Holman the brilliant award winning FX Makeup artist for the film had to ask Tim to stop talking so much on the final day of filming because his Zombie teeth kept coming unglued.
